"This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. "

We also had dinner here as it had great reviews for seafood. Sadly we were left quite disappointed as none of the food impressed and the sea bass was particularly bad. Our waitress was great, but there was some commotion behind the bar with the younger staff and you could tell that there was some conflict, just enough to make everyone uncomfortable without anything actually happening. "Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good"
