The road leading to hotel was in a bad shape, but all the troubles in the lead up to the hotel were worth it given the price, the warm reception at the desk and ease of checking in. "It was a good overnight stay 1. nice and safe car parking which is important for me 2. rooms are clean 3. excellent breakfast 4. good wifi, could get work done. The hotel is bang on the highway; the Google Maps incorrectly shows that you should take a left ( coming from Amritsar to Delhi) around 1 km before the property and travel on a side road. But you can directly turn left at the property from the highway. "

"I loved The Fort, it had enough amenities to match its style, what a beautiful property, if you love history you will love the Fort, the staff are lovely, so friendly, so helpful, the surrounding shops are full of lovely people too. The 4 poster bed I had was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in, they don't make them like that anymore. The food was so tasty too, Im going to go back thats for sure! Excellent value for money too, i thought they were joking when I got my bill :D "
