Our 3rd time at Kisses Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I are 70. We love to take our granddaughters, daughter and son-n-law on vacation each year. My favorite is Jekyll Island. We love this house because of its location, split bedroom (for me and my husband ) and my Chihuahua. The girls have their own bedroom and bath and my daughter and husband get their own as well. The girls get up and ride bikes all morning. We found this year that we had three refrigerators which was marvelous because we fill them with bottled water. The garage is nice to store fishing gear and rods. No one ever ran out of HOT water when we all came in to get ready to go eat. We found many fantastic restaurants on the island. Our granddaughters loved the general store! The garage door does need greasing. The furniture could use an update. It would be nice to have more than 1 television but otherwise it’s a fantastic house.

It was your basic beach house, with an amazing pool area

Everything was okay, we have a few issues with the layout— the kitchen is raised up…my mom fell and my husband tripped walking through. I would suggest tape to mark the step. The door to the separate suite leaks and isn't a solid door so you hear everything outside. The screen door to the sliding door of the other master was propped up against the door and almost fell a couple of times. More tvs would be nice, and maybe a sitting area in the separate suite. Overall it was a great trip minus a few struggles.

June 2024 Stay

Have stayed with Jekyll Realty for many many years and always been pleased. This house was a very big disappointment to our family. The house was covered in pet hair, even after being cleaned and infested with German cockroaches. Also, the fourth bedroom was a separate apartment not connected to the main living areas of the house. The shower in the separate apartment/bedroom had no hot water and the outlets in the room did not work. we just did not get what we expected from this rental.

April 2024 Stay

Kisses was very nice and Jekyll Realty was very helpful and accommodating. While there is a hot tub, the pool Itself is not heated and was really too cold to use. The tank heating the hot tub gave out on our 5th night (apparently needs to be replaced) which was disappointing. There are lots of extra pillows but no extra pillowcases that I could Locate. Kitchen very serviceable.

October 2022 Stay

Our stay at Kisses Cottage on Jekyll Island was absolutely perfect. We always love our time on the island and come home refreshed and renewed. The weather was beautiful with sunny skies and temps in the upper 70s most of the week; perfect for biking riding and beach walking. Meals at Zachary's, Tortuga Jacks, and Wee Pub did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next stay!

Pleasant

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Jekyll Island! The location of our rental was great and the house was well equipped. There were many issues when we got arrived, such as a broken bed, sink faucet, and ceiling fan. The house was fairly clean but everything was very dusty and some walls had not been cleaned.
