Lovely areas in the pub itself, we found some wing-backed arm chairs and played one of the Scrabble games they'd provided, while we had some food and drink. Breakfast in the same area the following morning was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a basket of treats. Staff were friendly and helpful. ...

"A little difficult to find perhaps but once there it is lovely. We arrived in the dark so it was great to wake up, open the curtains and look at the view across the fields. Breakfast (full english) was superb."

One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc."

"Lovely clean and well maintained room. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was just continental (toast and jam/nutella, cereal, fruit and flavoured yoghurts) but as I'm diabetic they went out shopping and got me plain yoghurts and marmite for low sugar options."

The owner was quick to respond to a query we had, and gave us useful information prior to our visit. A relaxing and enjoyable stay, plenty of places to visit and local walks. "

"The Mills have seen better days and needs a severe renovation - unfortunately at its current state it is very worn out. However it is a nice hotel - breakfast could be better though and the dinning hall is small and often crowded. A little expensive for the standard."
