The customer service is outstanding, with staff ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the volcano view was a highlight.
The pool is amazing, perfect for pictures, and offers a breathtaking spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The added bonus of kayaks made the experience even more enjoyable. One day was not enough— will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

"Positive: Very nice property in a lovely location; kayaks and paddle boards available free of charge, clean comfortable rooms, hot showers with strong water pressure, good breakfast
Negative: We booked a room with full board but were told upon arrival that the hotel did not even offer full board, that just breakfast was included. Hotels.com needs to look into this issue!! Water in both pools had an oily surface, not entirely clean."

"Vi overnattede i fem dage på Hotel El Maltese, to voksne og to børn. Hotel El Maltese er hyggeligt lille hotel med udsigt til Lake Nicaragua. Værelset var pænt, rent og med et helt nyt lækkert badeværelse. Stille og roligt på hotellet, personalet var tilstede og meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var enkel, frisk og der var nok af den. Der er cirka 10 minutters gang op til centrum af byen, nem at gå i løbet af dagen, men de anbefaler at køre i taxa om aftenen. Beginning with the staff, which is almost always the most important part of a hotel, they were all great. Very professional and accommodating. They were always there when we needed them.

"This is a really nice hotel in Granada, Nicaragua (NOT IN SPAIN!) with a distinctive colonial feel to it. Staff are very friendly, helpful and work with you on any specific needs. Within a 10 to 15 minute walk there are local bazaars, a park, and many dining options not to mention local sights. The rooms too are fabulous - spacious, airy and nicely airconditioned. "Biggest recommendation! The people running this place is the best, helpful, kind and full of recommendations in the city. The room is nice and the inside area of the hotel is cozy and beautiful. Wifi is good enough for video calls, around 25 MBS in down- and upload. Sometimes more. (I was working online). There are two dogs and a cat, be aware, but they are a friendly and a nice addition. "
"The property was quiet, the staff was excellent( especially at the bar and the morning breakfast staff). It’s within walking distance of a ton of restaurants, and all of the churches and plazas. There’s no need to do the horse carriage tours. Visit the chocolate museum. There’s a pizza place across the street. The only slight complaint was that the room was too cold sometimes."
