"The Hampton Inn was okay overall, the price was a bit steep for the amenities. Breakfast was included and there was an outdoor pool but nothing special. We got an ocean view room that was clean and had a good view. The hotel sits quite a ways back from the beachfront so keep in mind it is not as “beach front” as some of the neighboring hotels. "Nice location, near beach and great places to eat. Water pressure in bathroom sink was miniscule but good in shower. Room did smell funny (like fish) upon check in but was resolved quickly.
The only real downside is the expensive parking for the stay.

"Checked in. Of course, walked around room spraying lysol, like I aways do and right off bat i spotted a pair of men's underwear hanging from shower curtain and THEY WERE STILL WET when I yanked them down and threw them in garbage.
As always, never use room service. And the sign at front desk that they charge $35 for unretured pool towels is offensive. Place is in need of inside paint."

"The property, the room, where you parked, all were very, very good
I have to say most coffees when you travel in your room is awful and I need to tell you the coffee in this room was excellent
I didn’t like several things though
I didn’t care for the shower because the showerhead was too high and no grab bars at all. You don’t have to be disabled, handicap, or old, to need grab bars.
Next is no microwave in the roomand I was told it was because they didn’t want to smell of food in the hallway...

"Shower that leaked onto the floor causing me to slip.
Shower not pitched correctly or drain clogged so water so I was also showering in a puddle.
Not the best air quality but not the worst.
***On the day of my checkout I came back to my room hours prior with my door unlocked and opened, just cracked while my valuables were in my room.***
Did also have to pay for parking which was unexpected but a norm in St. Augustine I’m noticing."
