"This hotel needs to do better. The AC in my room wasn’t working properly and the restaurant did not have at least 50% of the items of the menu. We left one day before, because we needed to fully enjoy our time of vacation. Perhaps, not only for this hotel, but for all the hotels in las Islas del Rosario, the transportation is a scary ride, way too many people in the boats."

"After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.

"We had a great time. The property has two residences. The chefs/cleaners are in a house at the back. They were really great. Especially great cooks! We provided the groceries and they cooked in the outside kitchen to perfection and cleaned after each meal. For us, it was all authentic Colombian food, which is what we wanted.The location is great.
