Loved our stay in the cosy cabin. Only thing I would say is that the outside veranda area could do with a clean. Not taking anything away from our stay though, really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

The cabin and location was fantastic. Needed a couple of hand towel for the kitchen, and I could not figure out how to make the clothes dryer heat, but overall an amazing stay.

Excellent log cabin in a very quiet location. Perfect stay to get away from the hustle of everyday life. The log cabin has all the basics that you need and is very clean.

The cabin was well equipped, However it is in need of some maintenance, The oven was unusable as it was filthy,and although advertised there is no WiFi.Overall it could be very nice but they need to sort these things out.

So comfortable there. If you want peace and quiet with great views this is it. We had an issue with washer/dryer and response was great.

Wonderful log cabin

What a wonderful cabin! And in a beautiful setting. Lovely and quiet. Cabin had everything we needed and a wonderful ambience. Red squirrel up the tree right opposite was magic!

It’s a cabin setting there’s a few bugs and washer/dryer didn’t work and the furniture is older. Great place to get away from the city noise but needs to be updated and the GPS is about 3/4 of mile away from where the cabin is actually located.

Filthy. No power or heat when we arrived. No instructions how to turn it on. Finally figured out there was a panel - not marked- and switched on but had to sleep in our clothes. Complained to host through email - no reply. Mice in cabin. Left after one night but still charged for two. Disgusting
Panel that nobody told us WE needed to turn on. No heat no power til we figured it out.

This cabin has the potential to be beautiful. However it was quite unclean in general, needing a deep clean. Not particularly well equipped and dishes/glasses in poor condition and needed washed before use. Only two bath towels provided. Fridge had nfoid left

Bon sejour

Très bon confort, mériterais un sérieux nettoyage extérieur. Manque QQ ustensiles de base comme balais, couvercles a casseroles, étendoir a linge... Très tranquille et confortable.

DISGUSTING DO NOT BOOK

Disgusting property. Booked for 2 nights but reluctantly stayed one. Filthy, full of cobwebs, bed falling apart and smelled. Cabin is completely neglected and looks derelict from outside. Slept fully clothed as bedding didn’t feel or smell clean. Absolutely awful. DO NOT STAY THERE! Disappointed that hotels.com even agree to host this place!

Needs maintenance and a good clean

The black grouse cabin really needs to be checked by someone, have some maintenance work carried out and have a good clean not simply just a change of bedding/towels for new guests. A few issues Balcony needs repair, rotten wood Several areas thick with dust Chipped glass Only one wine glass No kitchen sink plug Bathroom wash hand basin plug stuck so can’t use Previous guests dirty washing in wardrobe, (probably still there) One hob ring difficult to turn off Access road is awful some people may find difficult. Basically tired uncared for chalet. We would not use again and wouldn’t recommend

We were disappointed in the cleanliness and the shower was very slippy and the hand basin was unsafe plug didn’t work. The fire extinguisher was empty and being used. The tv didn’t work at all and there was dvd but nothing to play them on games and the dominoes were missing. It was dusty and uneven to walk on I found it difficult to walk on using my walking stick. I found the sofas too low for me but might be fine for others. The shower when we got it working was good and they did supply us with a bath mat for it. It would have been nice to meet someone to show you how things worked instead of finding paperwork in a drawer to read . I have to say that I was disappointed with what we got for the money we paid for it. I don’t think we would stay again.

Cosy cabin

Nice log cabin next to a small waterfall. Not all that clean when we came but we enjoyed our stay very much. The shower is very bad, almost no water pressure at all.

Dirty

Denne hytten har masse potensiale, men er meget dårlig tatt vare på. Var udelikat og skittent overalt. ( både inne og på verandaen) Men heldigvis rent sengetøy. Var kjøkken med muligheter, men var så skittent i skapene at vi orket ikke lage oss noe mat. Var heller ikke noe papir /kluter /oppvaskbørste eller vaskemiddel til oppvaskmaskin. Det var ikke wifi, og ingen restauranter / eller butikker i gå avstand. (12min med bil) (This cabin has a lot of potential, but it's very poorly taken care of. It was unpleasant and dirty everywhere (both inside and on the veranda). Luckily, the bed sheets were clean. There was a kitchen with possibilities, but it was so dirty in the cabinets that we didn't feel like cooking. There wasn't even any paper/towels/dish brush or dishwasher detergent. There was no WiFi, and no restaurants or shops within walking distance (12-minute drive)

This property is beautiful and well kept, the owner sent all access info in advance and when we arrived the property was clean warm and stocked with essentials. This was our second stay at the log cabins and we will DEFINITELY come back again.

Lovely one bedroom log cabin just 6 miles from Loch Ness Museum etc Really good amenities in the cabin - washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc Plenty of hot water Good size fridge/freezer Only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the dust and cobwebs in the bedroom - other than that a fantastic little place

NOT A 5 STAR ACCOMMODATION

5 START - POPERTY WASNT AS LISTED NO RED CURTIANS, LEATHER SEATS, KITCHEN HOB, NO FLUFFY TOWELS AND THE CABIN COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH CLEANER COULDNT GET CAR TO THE DOOR OF THE PROPERTY WASNT BEST VALUE FOR MONEY
