My daughter and I booked this room for a basketball tournament. We stayed two nights. The hotel is very dirty. The common areas are in desperate need of vacuuming as you can see a little bits of stuff all over the carpeted floors. Our room was not clean upon check-in. There were bits of old french fries and other kinds of debris all over the carpeted floor. We had to wear shoes the whole time. The bathroom was also not clean and you could see grime on the tile. When the cleaning person came to our room after our first night the only thing they did was change the trash and give us new towels. They did not vacuum, change the bedding, clean the bathroom nor did they wipe off the desk or the TV table that had sticky stuff on it from snacking the night before. They also did not replace the empty Kleenex box that was in the bathroom. The only positive thing was that when I could not get the door key to work, the lobby attendant actually followed me to the room and showed me how to make the door lock work. It was basically broken and he was showing me a trick. When I tried to go to the lobby to ask for the room to be cleaned, there was no one at the lobby and the only way to reach anyone was to call a phone number. The outside of the hotel is in desperate need of painting. It is a very old hotel, but I would’ve have cared if it had been clean. As far as amenities? The pool was out of order. The refrigerator barely kept a bottle of water chilled.
Do not recommend this.
