It is out of the way of anything so I would recommend bringing some microwable food but that means it is perfect for an escape from the hustle of life and a peaceful retreat. I know it's advertised as a wedding and event destination but I do think it should be more of a retreat destination. "

"Great views, lovely staff. Our room had a window in the shower that allowed others in the room to see in but otherwise the room was great. The balcony was shared amongst three rooms which could make for great talks with the fellow guests or great for a family to have a larger gathering place. "

"The cabin was very clean, it sat right off the main road but you dont even notice once you get back to it. The covered deck had amazing views and very peaceful watching the thunderstorms roll in. We even had 5 to 6 deer walk through and was able to set and watch them graze through."

"This property is very close to Beaver Lake and has a great view. It had a nice pool and parking right outside your door.
It's an older location that's been totally remodeled and even boasts remote controlled AC. Very close to restaurants and many different Marina's and shops. My hats off to whoever picked out the updated room fixtures and décor."

"Great central location. Alex at the front desk was super helpful with our room accommodations and with helping us plan our visit around town. The hotel is of course old (1905) but is charming and well maintained, our bed was very comfortable and we had a nice jacuzzi bathtub in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
