"Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. Highly recommend this place when you’re passing through Shrewsbury UK.

"Brilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. "

"Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay.
However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station.
Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...

"Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. "

"My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again. "

There is either one space at the back of the property and you pay a deposit for a permit or there's a manned multi story car park just over the road.
Everything you could want is in walking distance and there are plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to chose from.
The house itself is a cross 3 floors but very comfortable and ideal...

"A fantastic hotel - really friendly and serviceminded staff, excellent food and nice rooms. AND you get everything for a really good price! I went there for business, but now I am considering to go there fore pleasure. The only small thing, I would mentione to be improved is the surroundings. I missed a an area for running or for walking."
