Really like our stay. The bed, duvet and pillows gave us an amazing sleep. Breakfast is as good as you will get. The two things to pick on were there was a bit of dust in the rooms and one of the rooms was very stuffy even with the fan on. As the windows only opened a little you couldn’t get much air in the room.

Great location from the train station and central to walk everywhere. Check in was a little slow along with breakfast due to them being under staffed.

Great hotel with fantastic staff
Fantastic service from a great small hotel. We had booked a 1 bedroom suite and were very pleasantly surprised to be told there was an on-site parking space included in the suite bookings. The suite itself was modern with a full kitchen, including washing machine and dishwasher. The rooms were large, pleasantly warm (it snowed whilst we were there!) and included everything we could have wanted apart from washing powder and clothes airer. The only word of caution is there is only a very limited lift service (has to be unlocked for you and hotel takes no responsibility as they don't own it). Also, for the Ilkley suite at least, as soon as you open the door to the room you have 9 steps to climb so not suitable for anyone who cannot manage stairs. Staff were fantastic, although the restaurant was a little understaffed at breakfast on our second day but understandable in the current climate.

A very warm welcome, in fact all staff were very friendly and professional. The room was immaculate with everything you could need for an overnight stay. Ate in restaurant. Food was superb. Great location, right in the heart of things. No on site car parking I'm afraid, but public car park nearby, albeit at a cost.

Weekend Trip
It was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The staff on site are so helpful as is the new manager. We would stay here again in a heart beat .

Great location, comfort and food. Pub closed.
The room was very nice and quiet and the bed very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in Bistro Pierre and the atmosphere, service and food waa spot on. Great location for a good walk on the moors. The only disappointment with our stay was that the pub was closed and we had no idea until arrival. Slight inconvenience as it was raining but we found another pretty close.

The stay was very good however I think they were short stafed dident have much time for the guests and the main bar was closed, the breakfast was very good. Would recommed.

Prima kamer, zag er netjes en schoon uit. Het personeel liet soms wat lang op zich wachten. Leuke locatie in het midden van het stadje. Goede uitvalswegen richting moors en bc golfbanen

Good morning Last night we stayed in the Saltaire suite. We booked a suite instead of a standard room to use the facilities including the tv as it was our first night away in 2 years after having our daughter. So you can imagine our disappointment when we got into the rooms to find neither of the 2 tv’s were working in the room. We of course attempted to get the tv’s working ourselves which only resulted in my husband receiving an electric shock from the tv in the living room when checking the aerial connection! We immediately contacted a staff member who I believe was supervising the restaurant ( I didn’t catch her name) and advised her of the above. To which no apology was offered she just blamed the weather for the aerial falling down on the roof and said she would try get someone to sort it in the next 3 hours. We returned to the room around 4 hours later to find someone had been in the room as the tv was no longer giving out electric shocks and there was a roll of tape left on the sofa. We paid £180 for this room and have not been able to use it to its full capacity, we may aswell of paid for a standard room. I do need to add the rest of the suite was faultless but due to the nature of our night away the lack of working tv did affect our stay. The hotel bedroom only had a wall heater, the building is old and it was a cold day so the room took along time to heat. The water was aired so not a pleasant shower. I asked staff for extra blanket - one was not given. Restaurant staff young. We had eaten our breakfast before we were served our juice.

Beautiful... but
Not the best. Shame. Great location etc., but customer care was questionable. Bar shut too.. i suggest i know what the reasoning will be give current situation but please! Even updating their website, which is aneasy enough task, would let customers know what's happening.

Very nice stay
Have stayed here a few times. Pleasant and helpful staff, room comfortable, clean with very comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Usual hospitality tray, hairdryer etc. Very good breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Parking nearby (chargeable). Would recommend.

Bathroom was disgusting (i.e., pink mould in the shower) and really grossed us out. The heavy winter duvet is way too warm for the time of year (summer) which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. Either go with a lower tog rating for the warmer months or provide a sheet. The breakfast in the morning was mediocre. I had eggs Benedict and the poached egg was practically hard boiled.

Check in was ignorant checking us in carried on talking to member of staff on & off stood there feeling stupid was not told about lift had to ask and didn't find out till the end so had to lug all our bags a baby and a pram up flights of stairs and numerous doors and corridors Made you feel like a number and not a paying guest

There was only one towel. After asking staff three times we still didn't get a second towel Teas and Coffee wasn't refreshed Room was very small Wifi was extremely poor

A lovely stay
We had a lovely stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. A problem with the shower was sorted out very efficiently . Service was very friendly and professional. We would recommend to friends and will stay again.

Could do better
Have stayed here many times in the past and was always nice that’s why we decided to stay again in these difficult times but we were disappointed. Room very small and on checking the toilet had not been flushed and was full of blue roll and then we noticed that the bin had not been emptied and also the tea tray was dirty. Not good in COVID times!!! But when we asked they where quick to react but it should have been spot on in the first place.

Great Location
A great location! Our room was a bit on the small side and it was so hot, we did manage to get a fan but even with window open it was stifling. The quilt was so thick, could have done with a lighter weight in the summer. The bathroom grouting was awful around the shower area, I do not find this acceptable, it looked digusting. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, breakfast was superb, lots of choice, no complaints there.

No parking on site unless you are in a suite. No 24 hour parking nearby. Expedia ad says parking included. It isn’t. Room ok, a little tiny. Food not recommended. Ordered food and was on table about five minutes later. Staff mostly helpful and friendly with a couple of exceptions. Waitress too keen to take plates away when you haven’t finished eating. Kerb appeal - shabby. Needs money spending on it to make it look more pretty/classy. Wouldn’t give it a four star. Location is good.

Ilkley Adventure
Room was on the very small side and very hot even with fan on resulting in little sleep first night. Bathroom excellent. Food in restaurant good, but little choice for breakfast, with no cereal available. Difficult bag drop-off in barrier controlled rear yard, then no parking pemit or advice where to park given. Didn't find 24 hour parking in immediate vicinity so parked across the river but would have been nice if someone had told us where to park - a map would be useful. Staff in hotel all pleasant.
