"We absolutely loved staying at Number Four at Stow. It was our first time in the Cotswolds. The hotel is really confidently located just outside of the town of Stow and it overlooks the beautiful English countryside. The room was spotless and inviting. "You get what you pay for. The Inn was probably built in the 70s and was very unattractive. The room was cheap. The check in was underwhelming, the room smelt of dampness, mould and cheap detergent. I never took my shoes off due to the dirty carpet and brown stains on the bathroom floor. There were black hairs all over the bathroom and in one of the beds and may be others but we chose not to look. Light came through the bedroom blind. This made it very difficult to read as I am only 5ft 6in tall. This became important as around 8.30pm there was a fire alarm.
