Location, location, location! Sandpiper is a stylish, modern and comfortable beach house, with two access points to the main beach at Hyams Beach - neither of which requires you to cross a road. Sleeping 6, this split level home has lovely natural light, district views, two deck areas, two bathrooms and use of a single lock up garage. A perfect Hyams beach pad!
Where will I be?
Sandpiper is located at the southern end of the Hyams Beach village, in a quiet cul-de-sac. To get to the beach you can walk 150m down Lister Court and down a short bush track, or walk back along Cyrus Street and take a lovely sandy track through the forest to the beach - only 250m. There are no roads to cross when walking to the beach. The Hyams Beach Cafe is also only 500 metres away, an easy walk.
Summer Season 26/27 (18 December to 21 January)
7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:
- Arrive: Saturday 19 Dec | Depart: Saturday 26 Dec
- Arrive: Sunday 27 Dec | Depart: Sunday 3 Jan
- Arrive: Monday 4 Jan | Depart: Monday 11 Jan
For the rest of Summer Season, a 3 night minimum applies.
Why choose Sandpiper?
Sandpiper is a casual, comfortable, contemporary, and perfectly located option for visiting Hyams - an easy walk to the beach with no road to cross! It is a split-level home, designed so that the living areas are separate to the sleeping areas. The home is well equipped with a full kitchen, two bathrooms and parking for one car in the garage.
How is the property laid out?
Sandpiper is a three bedroom home with 3 queen beds. It has an open plan living and dining area that opens to a deck with an outdoor dining setting and BBQ. The kitchen is well appointed and has a breakfast bench for casual eating. The master bedroom with ensuite is located on the top storey, and has a large en-suite and a private balcony with filtered water views through trees. The two remaining queen bedrooms are located on the middle level, along with the shared bathroom.
What about outdoors?
Open the sliding doors from the lounge room to access the covered deck which has an outdoor dining table and chairs and a BBQ for alfresco dining. There is an outdoor shower for you to remove sand when you come back from the beach!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
There is a split system air-conditioner for heating and cooling in the lounge room. The bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep you cool over the summer months.
What about sheets, towels or other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Sandpiper. However, please bring your own beach towel!
Parking for cars?
There is garage parking for 1 car, and driveway parking for 2 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sandpiper is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property includes a smart TV ready for your own accounts and provides complimentary high speed NBN connection and house wide Wi-Fi.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the internet is always in service, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
