"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Other than a few minor things that could be improved like having clothing hooks in the bathroom and Kleenex available, everything else was great. As former Sunset district residents back for a visit, we didn't want to stay in downtown. The Richmond was a good choice with so many restaurants and markets to choose from. "Very difficult to judge as I stayed first 2 night in a horrible, small, dark room where the bed was tiny but after complaining was moved to a very nice, large room facing the park with nice comfortable beds and nice bedding. Don’t bother about the breakfast. It is not worth eating. "

"The rooms were nice and the hotel has i nice atmosphere. In one of the rooms there was an invasion by hundreds of ants that were everywhere including the bed. And the otherwise nice staff apologized but took no action."

"A surprising little pearl in a quiet part of SF. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations for restaurants in the neighbourhood. The rooms are "old style" but with a modern twist"

"Super friendly staff and a quiet Nice hotel."

"If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner."

"Safe and budget friendly place near the Castro. The walls are thin, can hear the other guests. The shower and bathroom are shared and not well maintained."

"Great hotel Clean Close to public trabsport "
