"Nice welcome, shown to our room which was spotless and nice and warm, the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom, soft towels and plenty of hot water. Nice evening meal in the restaurant,good selection on the menu. Breakfast menu was good, and well prepared. Nice and friendly staff..we would definitely stay again. "

"The hotel is old and worn out. The staff in reception and in the restaurant were really service minded and helpful. My room was next to the ancient lift, which creaked and rumbled until about 1 am. The bathroom was in poor condition, with black mould in one corner, the shower curtain was old and dirty and the shower head was broken. The bedroom had old water stains in one corner, presumably from a leak in the roof and the carpet was stained. The bed (single) was clean and comfortable."

"We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "

I went there for business, but now I am considering to go there fore pleasure. The only small thing, I would mentione to be improved is the surroundings. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. "Dejlig gammel pub som har indrettet 4 værelser - udmærket WIFI og komfortabel seng, stille værelse. God aftensmad I pubben, men de serverer ikke varm morgenmad før 08:30 så man matte nøjes med lidt brød og ost sat frem aftenen før. Stedet kan anbefales, men ikke hvis man skal tidligt op..."
