LOCATION: Mariner's Village in Mariner's Landing (a smaller, quieter complex than the Pointe at Mariner's Landing)

You can also rent a boat or personal watercraft/Sea-doo in advance from the Bridgewater Marina hut near the pool at the Pointe at Mariners Landing.

HOUSE RULES:

1. You MUST be over the age of 25 to rent this condo.

2. No smoking or vaping within 20 feet of the doorways. (no smoking on the back porch)

3. No pets allowed. (for those with severe allergies, please note the owners bring a dog to the condo on occasion)

4. No gatherings, parties, or events allowed.

5. Quiet hours must be observed from 10pm-7am.

6. Please keep wet towels & clothing off the furniture and carpets.

Nestled in the the hills of Bedford County, Virginia, on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake, Mariners Landing is a golf and lake community with more than 1,000 rolling acres. Mariners Landing is one of the most picturesque year-round destinations with a 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf course, lakeside resort, country club amenities and an inviting community.

There are several condo complexes and communities in Mariner's Landing. Lake & Linen is located in Mariners Village.

PETS: We do NOT allow pets at the condo. (sorry, we are firm) For our guests with severe allergies, please note that the owner does bring a dog on occasion to the condo.

Condo very clean - well equipped had everything we needed including coffee and 2 different types of coffee makers. Great location overlooking Smith Mountain Lake. Good communication with Laura the owner and lots of good recommendations of things to do.

Beautiful home!

Everything was great and Laura responded whenever I had a question. The neighborhood is wonderful and we used the gym, pools and went to Bruno's and Tiff's restuarants which were fabulous. We will return!

It is a very nice quiet location. The condo was very well kept and comfortable. The only downside was that the towels were very dingy. They definitely need replacing, especially the wash clothes. Those actually looked dirty. Other than that it was a nice stay albeit short. We didn’t use any of the facilities such as the hot tub or the pool. And no kayaking either. I would recommend this Vrbo.

Valentine's Getaway

My husband and I love this condo so much! The decor is beautiful and the condo is so spacious. My husband's favorite part was the fireplace; it kept us so cozy! Aside from the condo, we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, but my favorite part of the trip was Bruno's! It's literally 2 minutes from the condo and the food is amazing! We had Valentine's dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the best crab cakes and shrimp scampi we've ever eaten. We liked it so much that we ordered brunch and dinner the following day to pick up and enjoy by the fire in the condo. We definitely recommend staying here and if you're able to, eat at Bruno's!

LOVED IT!

The property was extremely clean, and pretty much any household item you could need was there. The condo was spacious and the view was beautiful. We loved the rural location...it was so wonderfully QUIET that the only sound was crickets at night and birds in the morning. And yet, it was only 20 minutes or so from shopping in Moneta, and 8 minutes from the lovely SML State Park. The only problem we had was that the door code had changed and wasn't communicated to us prior to arrival, but we were able to reach someone quickly and got in. I did feel like the community amenities (pool, gym, walking trails etc) weren't as exciting as the property listing indicated (partially because the outdoor pool and hot tub were closed for the season), but we didn't really care, we had plenty to do elsewhere outdoors. (If the weather had been rainy all week, we might have cared more.) All in all we are looking forward to coming back next year and I highly recommend this property!

A Little place of heaven

This was the perfect condo! Everything went as planned. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only reason for the 4 star on cleanliness was due to carpet stains. But that didn't prevent us for having a great time! And the hosts were quick to respond if I have questions!!! We will definitely stay there again!

Excellent Accommodation

This was a great property. Very nicely furnished and equipped. There were just two of us but this would be ideal for a larger family with children. It really was like a home from home. It nicely situated and handy for all the amenities the resort offers. We would definitely recommend this property- 5 star!

Lovely, tranquil vacation rental overlooking the lake!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this condo! The kitchen was completely equipped, the shower head in the master bath was amazing and we loved enjoying our coffee and meals on the screened in porch. It was great to have the kayaks nearby, however, it was a little challenging to get them out and stow them away each day. We also would have liked to rent a SUP but were not sure where to go. We definitely recommend this walk up unit and look forward to returning in the near future.

Weekend with my son and his wife

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo is spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed the snacks and K-cups left by the host. The amenities were great. We spent time swimming in the pool and playing golf. We enjoyed one night at bottles and bites playing games and listening to music. The property and surroundings are beautiful and relaxing.

Fun time on the water

Had a great time with the family. The place was very comfortable and stylish. We were able to rent a boat right next door which was awesome. Just be aware that while it says there is a dock be aware that there is an extra fee.

Relaxing Retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this relaxing condo. Check in was easy and stress free. We enjoyed relaxing time with our friends in the spacious kitchen and living room. The 2 complimentary kayaks were an added bonus! We will definitely be back!!

Perfectly Tranquil SML

Loved everything about our stay at Mariner’s Landing. The condo was spotless, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the lake. The host even had such nice homey touches inside for us like fully stocked coffee supplies and a basket of snacks waiting. All was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The host responded promptly to all messages. We enjoyed the kayaks and all resort amenities. Would love to come back and highly recommend this place.

Spacious condo on the lake

Great location for a family wedding taking place at the lake. The two bedroom condo layout is fabulous. The kitchen is well furnished with anything you may need for cooking or drinking. The views were fabulous. Loved the screened in porch for relaxing at night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

SML getaway with a fantastic location.

While this was a solo trip this property would be excellent for a family. Ground floor easy in and out access. Beautiful sunrise views from the back deck, and shady in the afternoon. Close to SML state park. If you are a cyclist, fantastic starting point for several rides...which will challenge your legs. Beautiful home, well appointed. Host super helpful, responsive and helpful. Bruno's has solid pub food and The Landing is great for an special dinner out. Both are right by the property. 15 minutes to the grocery store. Overall a fantastic property and I would book it again.

Clean and beautiful view

Our stay went well. At arrival, the code wasnt working on the door but the owner answered right away and we were able to get in immediately. Our only complaint was that the condo had way too many air fresheners which we had to remove because of asthma/allergies, but after they were removed everything was fine.

Anniversary Trip

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfy. We did have a small issue with the fireplace being shut off for the season and it was still chilly. We were hoping to use it but weren’t able. The location is good. You have to drive about 15 minutes to get to anything. Nothing within walking distance. Unfortunately the on-site market and Bottles & Bits don’t open until late April. It was a cozy get away so we would recommend.

Very clean

Beautiful view. One of the cleaniest places we have stayed. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Starter snacks and lots of coffee. Beautiful grounds we enjoyed walking every evening. The only issue was check in. The code we were given didn't work but the number we called answered right away. Can't wait to visit again.

Great weekend getaway

We had an amazing stay! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. My kids loved the extra bags of treats that were provided. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
