The overall condition of the hotel was good, and the facilities met expectations. However, our stay was overshadowed by an extremely unpleasant experience with a staff member who was also the duty manager.
We were staying at the hotel to attend a wedding in the area. I was in a nearby room and part of the same group as the groom, and witnessed the incident on the morning of checkout—also the morning of the wedding.
The groom’s room had paid for a late checkout until 12pm. Despite this, a staff member arrived around 30 minutes early and insisted they were late leaving. She did not check the system and repeatedly told them to leave immediately.
Her language and tone were aggressive and confrontational—I have never seen a staff member speak to guests like this. She addressed it loudly at the room door, which was embarrassing and caused unnecessary stress.
The situation escalated to the point where a family member had to be interrupted while in the shower to confirm payment. It created tension within the group and ultimately ruined what should have been a joyful wedding morning.
As some of the group were dressed in traditional attire, the interaction felt particularly uncomfortable and gave the impression of possible bias.
While the hotel itself was fine, this incident significantly impacted the overall experience.
