"The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"We upgraded to stay in a villa closest to the beach. Well worth the extra money! The resort is located right on Diani Beach. The beach and ocean views are breathtaking. There are many activities offered to the guests. We went scuba diving, glass bottom boat ride, rode a camel, jet skiing and played volleyball. The food and drinks were very good. You won't be hungry or thirsty during your stay. The staff are amazing. Edward from the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to meet."

"Retro Boutique is a great, small hotel near Diani Beach. I stayed in the deluxe double room on the top floor, and I was amazed at how large my room was. Most if not all the rooms have a balcony, but my room had two balconies. One in the front of the room and one in the back of the room. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, the A/C was cold, and the wifi was fast. My bed also had a mosquito net, but I don't think it was necessary. "We stayed at the Tombo House for 7 days and had a great stay. The room was spacious and beautiful in a minimalistic style. Tombo House is placed inside its own big garden which is beautiful with a lot of different plants, a swimming pool, a nice area with a bar where you can chill and a rich animal life. "The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...
