"This is an excellent hotel and is clearly well managed. Excellent in every thing and the place has a pleasant and relaxing vibe. The best are the staff. They are friendly, professional from the desk to the bar and breakfast's staff to the maintenance man who can almost immediately to come fix our TV and had it working in minutes. I would definitely stay there again."

"The rooms were not clean. The first room we were given was “clean”, we pulled out the pull out couch and there was used tissues and used q-tip on the bed. The sink had dirty dishes and the counter was dirty. The room we ended up with had stains all over the carpet, stains all over the bath tub and was surface cleaned. Would not recommend staying here."

"Traveld for a show in the city. We checked in @3pm. There were couples fighting and screaming. Went to dinner back by 5pm and the hotel lost power, couple still carring on. Set in a hot room all evening and night. Was told it would be back on all night. Woke up still no power. Paid 163.00 for 1 night on a hard bed, no power, dinner went bad bc the fridge didnt work, offered breakfest but again paid for a service I couldnt receive. No refund were offered. When asked Managers were no where's to...

"We had the best 3 nights at this lovely B&B. The hosts, Ricky and Caesar, were impressively welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! We would love to come back to Philadelphia and stay at the Gables again. We highly recommend this B&B!

"Really beautiful hotel in quiet neighborhood and walking distance to Market st.
Spacious rooms, very thoughtfully decorated and very hospitable and friendly hosts. Loved it! My room was on 2nd floor and I'm glad I only brought an overnight bag, as I doubt I would have made the stairs with my big suitcase. Recommend the Dwight D to anyone. "
