"You can see by the photos that the home is outdated. However, this home shouldn't even be rented. I rent homes on VBRO all the time and this is my first bad experience. The doors didn't shut, including the two bathrooms. The larger bathroom we tried to avoid. The toliet moved, you could rock back and forth on it if you wanted too. "If you need an elevator ask for the ground floor. It was such a lovely spot and the staff so friendly. I arrived as. Storm hit, which lasted 3 days but there was plenty to do, especially as I really wanted a chilled and non hectic holiday. Catching the local bus was easy to get around, but if you’re adventurous, go on a stroll to Edgartown. I know I walked for about 2 and a bit hours, but got to walk over the “Jaws” bridge. "This house is like a museum! It’s beautiful inside and out. The home wasn’t as private or secluded as I’d hoped. The owner lets the neighbors park their boat at the dock so they roll up on you while you’re sunbathing, looking in the window at you while you’re in bed and roam back and forth through the yard at all hours of the night. This was the only flaw for me and it’s a big one when you pay almost a 1000 a night to have privacy and peace. "

"Nice inn with comfortable and clean units. Not spectacular, but it's one of the few affordable places on the island. Some people might be put off by the location, a mile south of Oaks Bluff. But it's got Noman's, a great restaurant with live music, and it's right on the bus line. Also you can walk 15 minutes to the beach. Units not soundproof, you can here some noise from your neighbors. Great pool and tennis courts."

"As a first time visitor to the vineyard, I didn’t know what to expect. I was very pleasantly impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the beautiful gardens. The hotel is very unassuming from the outside but once you come through the entryway, it’s as if you’re walking through another time. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Even more convenient is that it is across the street from the ferry. I look forward to my next visit. "
