"Room didn’t have running hot water.
No in-room wifi
Wild dog and cats lingering in and around the premises including outside rooms.
Hotel foyer and general outlook of hotel is in a state of disrepair and upkeep.
Not enough lighting in the rooms.
Towels and bedsheet had stains.
No in-room phone to call reception or outside line
Hotel staff were courteous. "

"The price (> 300USD excluding breakfast) is exceedingly high for what you get. The rooms facing the sea are ok but small. The lounge area in the reception was dilapidated and most afternoons and evenings full of outsiders. The swimming pool was also accessed by people (sometimes many) not staying in the hotel. The boardwalk restaurant was a highlight. "

"My overall stay at Honiara Hotel was good and staff are very kind, however condition of property is dated with a few facilities requiring repair / renovation especially bathroom in the room. Food is ok but not worth the price."

"Standard not living up to the price. It is worn and in need of renovation. We had breakfast for only one person, the other one was asked to pay - but the brakfast was not worth paying for. WiFi should be free, but was severely limited, so we had to pay for most of it - something we have not seen anywhere else in the world for at least 20 years.
If the price had been half it would have been ok."

"Strandzugang gibt es nicht, da auch kein Strand vorhanden. Kein Jacuzzi vorhanden. Frühstück nur China Nudeln von nebenan von 7.30 Uhr bis 8.30 Uhr und es wird dabei auch noch an die Tür geklopft. Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig. Leider keinerlei Schrank vorhanden. Alles in allem mehr als ausbaufähig."
