"The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The area in front of the hotel is beside the river. There was some construction happening on the the building that was a little inconvenient at the entrance, but the room was great! Cold air conditioning, comfortable beds ample sized room with beautiful view of the Nile and boats out the window."

"Amazing staff, the property manager was extremely helpful and helped me work out a way for my pickup driver to find the location. They are right next to Philae Marina and provides a convenient way to start your day going to the island. I highly recommend this location. "

"Upon arriving at Endo Mondo, we were a bit skeptical. We were 5 females traveling and it was night. When we first arrived it was dark and seemed sketchy. However when we went the person who was managing the property during this time, his name is Helmy, he made us feel better. He was very helpful and basically took care of us for the rest of our one night stay until the following afternoon . Helmy was very attentive of our needs.. he gets 5 stars. "

"Utroligt dejligt beliggende hotel. Desværre bærer hotellet præg af at det kniber med den almindelige vedlighold af bygninger og inventar. Krisen har været hård ved Egyptens turisme, og åbenbart også for dette hotel. WI-FI kun i lobby og af ringe kvalitet. Personalet gør deres bedste for at du skal føle dig velkommen, så den ros skal de have. Blot ærgerligt at rammerne ser slidte ud. Vi fik vores ophold til en fornuftig pris, men skal der gives fuld pris, så vil jeg nok have forventet lidt mere.....

"Excellent views. Large rooms with everything we needed. Staff were fabulous, especially the restaurant staff. WE had breakfast and dinner there everyday of our 3 night stay and they could not do enough for us. Location a bit out of the way as a car is needed to access everything, but we knew this when booking and used taxis at very minimal costs. The views were worth living a bit further out."

Great location to take instagrammable pictures and videos. Only pain point - there was no WiFi, as their internet reception was being affected by wind. Need to invest in better infrastructure for connectivity services. But everything else was wonderful."

Desværre var det som tidligere hed New Cataract Hotel, noget som ligner Høje Gladsaxe i miniformat, blevet restaureret så meget at det pludselig også hed Old Cataract Hotel. Comfort, værelse og service var fin. Nød god stemning på den historiske terresse, dog var den tidligere så smukke have blevet alt for trimmet og lysbælter om palmer er no go. "Great, beautiful and unique location straight on the Nile. Easy to walk to many things from there. The staff was all really nice. Also, the pool area is pretty big. The breakfast was alright. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Shower flooded a bit when in use. And it was very noisy also inside the room from people walking by and children playing right outside. Families apparently go to the pool on day passes and this can be a very loud affair, also inside the room if close to the pool."
