“On the Rocks” is a 3 bed, 2 bath LAKE FRONT home with a PRIVATE DOCK, separate loft area, and large windows throughout guaranteeing spectacular views of the lake. We are located in a small, quiet neighborhood only 3 miles to town.

Home sleeps 10. Large deck overlooking the lake with gas grill and outdoor dining area.

**Private dock provided for your use!**
The space
Renovation just completed! New paint and all new linens.

Washer and dryer, digital HD cable, & free WIFI for your use.


Living Room:

Features a large flat screen TV and in-wall sound system with bluetooth connectivity to your phone. Dining area is also provided. Most importantly, it has amazing views of the lake! Right outside the living room is a large deck with 6 Adirondack chairs with nearly a 180 degree lake view!


Loft:

That’s right, a separate living area for the kids (or adults :). Features a flat screen TV and 2 twin beds. A full bath adjoins this space.


Kitchen:

All needed cookware, all necessary small and large appliances (including a dishwasher), hightop seating for 2. Outdoor dining area and gas grill are right off of the kitchen as well.


Master Bedroom 1 (downstairs):

Features a king size bed, 600 count linens, and flatscreen TV. Full bath and washer/dryer are just outside in the hall.


Master Bedroom 2 (downstairs):

Features a king size bed and 600 count linens. Full bath and washer/dryer are just outside in the hall.


Bedroom 3 (upstairs):

Features two queen beds and 600 count linens. Full bath is just outside in the hall.


Outdoor Areas:

Dining area with gas grill off the kitchen, large deck off of the living room with 6 Adirondack chairs with nearly a 180 degree lake view, and a private dock with a large sun deck and a 9.5’ x 25’ slip.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire house, deck, fire pit, and dock areas.
Other things to note
***Sorry, we do not allow any pets. Must be 24 years old to book.

***We are on a steep grade and if people have any issues with mobility and getting around, getting down to the dock could be difficult. To make this easier, we had a stairway/walkway installed. There are ~7 stairs to get into the house from the driveway.

***Boat trailer parking is allowed in the cul-de-sac as long as you give plenty of room for the neighbor to get to their place. The other option is to leave it in the lot at the public boat ramp which is right across from our dock. If you have multiple trailers/boats, they will need to be in the public lot.

***The water level of the lake is lowered in the fall and winter. If you plan on boating during this time, contact me prior to learn more. Boating is still possible depending on the type of boat you have and the time you visit.

***Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb are available for monthly rental. Contact us for rates.

***We adhere to our cancellation policy. If you would like protection in case something else arises that may cause a change to your travel plans, we recommend you purchase independent travel insurance.

Nice quiet place and accommodated our needs very well

It was a lovely week. The house is right on the lake with a nice view. There are 10 beds but overall the house was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. We were 6 adults and it would have been a tight squeeze if there had been children in our group running around.The kitchen was well equipped.There were a few small issues in the house but the owner was quick to reply and all was sorted out.I would recommend this house.

The location suited our needs perfectly. We are a group of 5 friends who used the rental as a mini quilting retreat and a base for sightseeing. We spent a lot of time admiring the view and watching the wildlife too! We were fortunate to see a huge group of pelicans land right in front of us

The pics on the site do not show exactly what is there now. Furniture changes, etc. Several issues. No rugs at entry doors so coming in during rain meant we had to track up the floors and leaves had not been swept off porch/deck so kept also sticking to shoes and tracking everywhere also. The house itself may have structural issues, I think. The deck has a slight decline to the front half of the house and then there is a slight incline to the back half of the house. Soft spot in floor around stool and in the bathtub. Seems like there was one other spot-but cannot recall exactly. Arm chair with fabric upholstery has filthy arms. That's the bad. The good was that the overall cleanliness was definitely better than some places I have stayed. Had plenty of plates, utensils, linens, etc. Was a decent location with the boat dock and quiet neighborhood. I definitely don't feel like this place is quite worthy of the 9/10 rating that I saw. I would rate it more of a 5 or 6 with the majority of that rating due to the fact that it was pretty clean in general and area/view was decent.

Nice place with wonderful setting and view of sunset. Appreciated the quiet neighborhood and rural setting. Convenient to local supplies and eats. Nice kitchen, good beds and really enjoyed the deck! Will be back

Loved the house and the view. Enjoyed the deck and the dock. The only thing that I didn't care for was the steep hill that the house sits on. We are old and out of shape and whew, it was a workout. But we loved our stay!!!

This home met our group's needs perfectly: adults on the main floor and college kids took the loft. Plenty of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed the dock for our ski boat.

3 friends brought their children (ages 5-16) together so all of us could play and this space helped us make it happen. We never felt too crowded when we got stuck inside due to weather. Loved to porch overlooking the lake and were able to spend some time on the dock (unfortunately we weren’t able to use the fire ring because of either high winds or rain). Easy ride to Land between the Lakes National park which is a great national park. House was clean, washer/dryer worked, kitchen was stocked well enough for us to get make the fairly simple meals we planned. We really enjoyed our stay and are definitely going to remember it in case we decide this is where we want to meet again.

First impression was not very good due to the filthiness of the front door. The door was covered with cob webs and small bugs. The door is extremely dirty. The inside of the house was nice however the smoke alarm by the downstairs bedrooms was missing and there seemed to be mold growing on the ceiling by the downstairs bathroom. The upstairs was nice enough however the leaves and debris could have been blown off before customers arrived. The downstairs deck was not usable due to dirt and mud on the deck floor. I believe 30 minutes of someone doing a small amount of care would have made a huge difference. Overall the rooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds and we had a great time despite the issues mentioned above. Thanks Ron

House was very nice and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children Air conditioner could have been better Difficulty turning down thermostat which made it very warm especialy while sleeping

Beautiful and spacious cabin which included many amenities. If your concerned about climbing many stairs to the covered boat dock, don’t be. The boat dock is only approximately 100’ from the cabin. The nearest boat ramp is maybe 5 minutes away and the ramp can be seen from the cabin. Many good restaurants in the area along with some great antique stores. Nashville is only an hour and a half away as well!

Lovely home, exceeded all expectations!

The owners were great about communicating with me about questions. The house had plenty of room for 11 adults to enjoy and not feel cramped. The kitchen was far better stocked than some other places I have rented recently which made it nice when preparing food. There are quite a few steps from the house to the dock which wasn't a problem for the 20 somethings staying with us, but a challenge for some of us older adults. LOL..

Everything was just great! The small bay the house sits on is very quiet with very little boat traffic. We spent most of the time swimming off the dock, luckily I brought a 10x10 canopy which helped keep the dock platform shaded during the heat of the day. Overall great week!

The lake house had everything we needed/fully stocked. Beautiful deck with plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful view. Covered dock was great for protecting our items in the boat during the occasional rain showers. We caught, cleaned, and ate a variety of fish. The grandkids loved the upstairs loft. The owner answered my questions in a timely manner.

We didn't have ideal conditions to use all of the wonderful accommodations that came along with this property as we had 5-6" of snow for most of the trip. The property is very nice with two bedrooms downstairs (king beds), a nice kitchen to prepare meals, and a large dining room table to enjoy each others company during dinner. There is a nice washer & dryer to keep up with laundry and the internet service is super fast and reliable. The upstairs has plenty of room with a TV and bathroom. We had a great trip and will look at booking this property again in the future.
