The Hotel Pool area is AWESOME & the perfect place to relax if you're not going to the beach that is only 2 mins away!

This studio suite is complete with a 2 burner cook-top, microwave, some kitchen prep tools, a coffeemaker, beach towels, beach chairs and a comfortable queen size bed.

The balcony was a direct view of other buildings, but to the right was a view of the ocean. The property was clean, just noticed the start of mold at the bathroom sink counter and on the bottom of shower curtains. The toilet flush mechanism had to be fiddled with upon arrival in order to flush. We fixed it, notified owner who did offer to assist, but it was fine for the day and half we were there. I will say in the future for the final cost for unit and Vrbo fees, I will just book with chain hotels for and get recognized quality of stay. It served our purpose for heading off to our Hawaiian cruise.

Property was as expected. Could use to attention here and there. A kitchen sink faucet in the bathroom was an odd choice. Had an iron but no ironing board. Otherwise location was nice. Provided beach chairs although we didn’t use them.

Check in and out process was quick and easy. Only thing I would add is to book parking with hotel prior to check in. Room was clean with a view of the ocean from our balcony. Our host kept in contact and available if needed. This was a perfect location because you could do so much within walking distance. I would recommend going to Alo Cafe right beside the hotel for an amazing açaí bowl.

Mixed Feelings

Check-In took 45 minutes to begin despite arriving 15 minutes early and no line. There’s constant issues with between the front desk and brokerage/realty company. The property was no as nice as photographed, however still a great value. There were many families with children. The food was good at the hotel but limited. I saw a roach the size of a half dollar crawl under a neighbors door, which almost caused me to leave. Quite frankly, I couldn’t afford to at that point and was told by a fellow guest that not only had he brought this up with the front desk without so much as an apology from staff but that it’s common to have all kinds of insects on the island find their way inside. While I found this quite unusual, as previously stated I couldn’t afford to leave. I used linen to cover the gap by the door and never had food garbage in the room. W also swept several times, not something I expected or wanted to do. I struggled with the question of whether I would recommend this place, therefore I attempted to leave an honest review. Lastly, while there was no resort fee, it was disappointing, inconvenient, and misleading to claim there was beach towels. There were 2 that you could never exchange as it is a privately owned unit and not part of the overall hotel.

It wasn't too bad

It is a low budget place to stay. The property is pretty dated although some of the regular rooms looked a little more modern these rooms were not considered part of the motel, so they were basic. Not a glamorous place by any means but the bed was soft and the view wasn't too bad. Location was good. Just a few minutes from the excitement. I didn't need any frills and didn't get any.

Quiet get away

The pool area was nicely shaded, unfortunately a building is being built next door so, there was lots of noise while at the pool. The balcony was great for the morning sunshine. Lots of places to eat all around.

Ideal location in Waikiki

the suite is big enough for a couple but no more than that. The unit could use an update and a deep cleaning. The pros are that it is in an excellent location and the pool area is great. There is a small ocean view. One of the beach chairs was broken so we bought beach mats.It could use a few more items in the kitchenette. Bathroom could use a fan and the lanai could use smaller furniture to fit the space better. Air conditioning worked well and bed was comfortable enough. Parking is not always available and you cannot book in advance so that is a con

Loved the location of the Bamboo. Easybwalk to the beach , shops and restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We personally like the smaller boutique type character the Bamboo has. Would stay again.

I had a great stay at the Bamboo ! This was a solo trip for me . I felt very safe and the room was cozy, and comfortable . The AC worked perfectly , it was quiet, clean and very close to beach, restaurants , the International Market , and of course the ABC stores are plentiful! Always a great spot for a cold drink or a snack. I rented a car and had to use a couple different parking garages located 3-6 blocks away. That was fine for me. Both parking garages were attached to hotels and both felt very safe . Waikiki was filled with tourists so walking the streets always felt safe as there were lots of people around .

We stay a week in this cute studio, that is small but functional. We enjoyed eating on the balcony, the proximity to the beach and how easy it was to get buses. It is in the center of Waikiki with tons of shopping nearby. However, being in Waikiki, it is also noisy and direct facing a taller building.

Bamboo Hotel

Bamboo Hotel is very fine, So new schedule is started in same hotel. That period is 04/22-04/29/2024. My owner say that my room is continued, That is okay. But I am worried about my continued schedule. Plese confirm this issue.

Wonderful studio in the midst of everything!

Lovely studio minutes from beach, shopping, restaurants. Water view from the balcony. Responsive hosts. Would definitely stay there again. Could use a fan in the bathroom to cut down on moisture.

Great view, great pool and great location of hotel

This is a cute little property with a balcony that has a view of the ocean. It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. You don't have to wait for an elevator very long and there are only a couple rooms on each floor. Nice boutique hotel that is only a short walk to the beach! Thank-you!
