This condo is in a great walkable area with plenty of restaurants and food trucks around, close to general store shopping (tons of ABC stores, one larger Island Country Market) as well as higher end shopping and about a fifteen minute walk to the beaches. Note that this is a pricier tourist area so you will pay a little more for food and gen store items, and there isn't a good place to park, so walking and Uber are your friend. The closest Foodland would need an Uber ride or a car rental; too far for walking. The condo itself was very clean, great view of the canal, up high enough that noise was at a minimum, and friendly staff. You will want to either bring more K-cups with you for the machine (I couldn't find a local shop that carried them) or just go down and find good local coffee shop (there are several). I didn't get to use the laundry but did hang at the pool a couple nights. If I found myself in Waikiki again I would definitely stay here. Aloha!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The location was very convenient, only a short walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Great to enjoy the life! The room was perfect, had everything we needed and was well represented. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated having the use of the laundry room, especially because we were there for almost a month. The pool was warm and had a great deck and area for soaking up the sun. We would recommend this stay and will return.

Close to beach, restaurants and stores!!!

We stayed at this property while assisting my daughter to move in to her apartment at the university at Manoa. This was a great location. We were able to walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. The unit was clean and fit all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again!!

Big windows, nice little kitchen

Very convenient. Sharing elevators with the hotel guests was just fine. Nice big sliding door windows. The kitchen saved me from eating out every meal of each day. The property is a little older than it appears in the pictures and could be repainted. Same for the caulk/tiles in the bathroom.

Great location

Nice little set up convenient to everywhere in Waikiki Whether it be a shuttle tour or walking distance. Good value. Nice view. My recommendations would be to add items or a list of local favorites, where to get coffee pods, where to find the ice machine. Little things like that. It was nicer than the hotel and the service and response from the owner was great. They made it extra special As we were celebrating a major mile stone and they decorated the bed so it was a Welcome surprise. I highly recommend this unit.

We loved this place, it’s exactly how the pictures showed it to be. The location was perfect as well, just a short walk from downtown Waikiki. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Bad first day

When we first opened the door to the property, we made sure to check all the lights. Everything was fine except for the overhead lights by the sliding closet, they didn’t turn on at all. We left that as we didn’t really need those lights. Then my boyfriend was setting up his Xbox so we’d be able to play and watch on the tv, when he plugged it into the outlet under the a/c, we heard a pop and saw that the outlet had somehow burnt his Xbox. We didn’t know why the outlet was like that but now we’re having to go out to get a new one. After that we went to look at our lanai and the view, the lanai was very small and had a bunch of paint cans still outside. As for decor it was cute as long as you don’t look too close, most of the fake plants still had their tjmaxx tags on them. Our overall stay was alright just expected better based on the listing and other reviews.

Perfect Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and fresh with a lovely view. We appreciated the amenities the property had like the workout facility and laundry! The area was within walking distance of the beach and lots of shops, which we were able to get to and enjoy without a car. Would stay here again!

Amazing stay at Royal Garden

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Garden. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking. Our host was very accommodating during the check in/check out process. The check in process was seamless and the hotel staff was very helpful. There is laundry downstairs as well as a gym and pool. The area has restaurants, convenience stores and attractions in walking distance. A very convenient location. The place cools off and heats up nicely. We were able to utilize street parking as well valet parking with no issues. The space is exactly as advertised and very clean. The bathroom and small kitchenette were great as well. This is the perfect stay for a couple. My spouse and I will definitely use this location again. I highly recommend booking this rental with Happy Vacations.

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I loved our 7-night stay here! This is a private room in the Club Wyndham Royal Garden at Waikiki hotel, which is a really nice place. It is a short walk to Waikiki beach (less than a mile) and close to lots of yummy places to eat. The room felt beautifully modern and looks exactly like the pictures! The kitchen was just what we needed—a medium-sized fridge, microwave, small stove, and all the basic kitchen utensils you’d need (pots, plates, bowls, silverware, etc., even a mini rice cooker and blender)! The bathroom was nice too and had plenty of towels—even three beach towels! Brent with Happy Vacations was quick to reply and had clear communication. The one *tiny* concern I had was that I was the one who had to reach out about check in/out details, and otherwise there was no communication. That being said, when I did reach out with any questions they were friendly and quick to reply! As for the check in/out, both were super quick and simple. Check in is pretty much like any standard hotel check in, and they gave us a laundry card that gave us access to the hotel washer/dryers—it’s all free, but you do have to provide your own detergent. We didn’t want to buy a whole thing of detergent for only a week there so we didn’t use the laundry. For check-out, there wasn’t even anything required; you just leave by 10 am and their cleaners take care of everything! The only small frustrations we had were the small amounts of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash there were—all they give you is a single tiny hotel-size container of each. (Except for hand-wash, they did have a big bottle of Jergen’s moisturizing hand wash which we super appreciated!) Considering we were out and about all day under the hot Hawaii sun plus sandy and salty from the beaches, a shower every day was definitely essential. What really would have put this place over the top was if they just had a full-size container of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash for guests to use. (And detergent would be a HUGE plus as well!) So definitely plan to take some of your own travel-size containers with you. That being said, the place was still wonderful and the minor frustrations were not enough to lower to four stars! It really was a great place to stay; I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars overall. Thank you!
