Our stay in this condo worked out perfectly! The view of Diamond Head and the ocean from the living room and bedroom were breathtaking! The condo was clean and fresh-looking, with it's light-colored blue walls and white accents. We loved that there were room-darkening curtains in both the living room and bedroom. The beds and sofa couch were all comfortable - no aches and pains, even after the fifth night! There were more than enough bath and beach towels and sheets and blankets. The host was super-responsive, kind, and generous! The location is ideal, as it is literally just a few moments from Waikiki Beach and the main shopping strip of Waikiki. We enjoyed staying at the Diamond Head-end of Waikiki, as it presented as more quiet and less crowded than it can be closer to Ala Moana and downtown Honolulu. The only criticism I would offer is to consider updating some of the finer/decorative details of the condo, such as the lamp shades, the shower curtain rod; and fixing the closet door in the bedroom so that it slides open and closed easily. Oh, and mirrors, more mirrors! This condo was otherwise beautiful and super-functional! Thank you!

The property is in a great location and is very well maintained. The beach, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping were all within easy walking distance. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Waikiki including beach towels, chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. The host gave clear entry instructions and was responsive to our questions. Access to the parking garage was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Sehr gute Lage in Waikiki. Die Aussicht vom Apartment ist sehr schön. Für uns (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) war es wichtig, genügend Betten zu haben. Die zwei Queensize-Betten im Schlafzimmer waren für uns ideal und auch bequem.Das Apartment ist gut eingerichtet. Wir haben oft selber gekocht. Eventuell wären 1–2 neue Bratpfannen wünschenswert.Super war auch der inkludierte Parkplatz.

The place is 80% of what was described. There is no washer/dryer in the unit (it's a pay washer/dryer at the end of the hall), there isn't a dishwasher, bring all of your own toiletries and small things that were less than expected. Overall, the check in and checkout process for parking was a mess. The parking situation (free parking was never disclosed on the post). I had to ask. If you expect a 9.8 out of 10 experience, this place is not it.Overall, we were comfortable and worked around the issues.

The condo is located right off the main road along Waikiki. Very walkable to rhe beach and stores. Lots of food and shopping available. It's also located close to tour pickups if you opt for that. Beautiful sunset from the beach and the balcony. The unit itself is decorated very nicely. There are plenty of towels, beach chairs if you need them. There's a very handy parking pass to use. Mattresses are very comfortable. The only issues I had were there's no tv in the bedroom. The only tv is in the living room. There's a sofa there that lays down to a bed. That sofa is the most uncomfortable one to sit on. So being tired after our outings, it was unbearable to sit on the couch. I just went to bed early. But that's just us...seniors. if that doesn't matter to you then THIS is the place for you

Thanks for a wonderful home base in Waikiki. Every detail of this apartment is exactly as it is described. It is updated, comfortable, very clean, and has all the amenities you will need for your stay. The view is exactly as photographed. The elevators worked the entire time and we did not wait more than a minute or two for them. The convenience of the parking garage was priceless! This being our 3rd trip to Oahu, we explored other areas of the island and could not have done it without a car. Check-in and check-out was simple and seamless.

Perfect stay for our family of 3 from NZ. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and pillows was a bonus. Location is walking distance to shops, beach and bus stop. Pool wasnt crowded, although could get quite windy. Good view from the little balcony. Excellent and quick communication from hosts. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

A nicely decorated condo in a great location. The bathroom was very well stocked with towels, hand towels and facecloths.The kitchen was also well stocked and there were plenty of cleaning products.The bed was comfortable and we slept well.Our only negative comment about the condo is that the sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on.A message sent to the owner on our arrival and another prior to our departure were not acknowledged, which is a little disappointing.

Great views, great property, great location...we had a prior favorite we'd always return to but now this unit/owner is direct competition as we would love to return if available on our next visit. Great condo

Pros: Good location to Waikiki beaches and restaurants. Easy check in. Free parking was great. Had everything you’d need for cooking in the kitchen. Good communication with owner. Cons: Only mirror is in the bathroom. A full length mirror or extra mirror in the bedroom would be helpful for two people to get ready at the same time. No washcloths - if you use them bring your own.

Love the location

We had a wonderful time in this Condo. Less then 10 minutes to the beach and all the restaurants along Waikiki and that's counting when we leave the condo. Having parking was a huge plus. Having beach towels and beach gear was wonderful. Thanks for sharing your condo with our family.

Really good location. Beach is a quick walk and stores are about a block or two away. Nice view. Bed is comfortable. Toiletries are stocked very lightly so plan to bring shampoo, conditioner and lotion or go to an ABC store after you arrive.

Fantastic location and stunning views

We were happy to use the apartment as our home base as it was easy to walk to everything. We loved going for runs along the canal and then walks in the evening along the beach.Note about parking: reminder to keep your ticket stub when you enter in order to get the 'free' parking because without the ticket, it is difficult to deal with the parking people. It was a breeze once we found our ticket and then kept our tickets in the car each day.We would definitively stay there again.The hosts were responsive and helpful.We had an issue with the sliding door but it was fixed the very next day. Highly recommend!

A beautiful condo to vacation in

The condo is spacious and offers a marvellous view just by looking out the glass sliding door! Even better, Dimond Head is well in sight when stepping out onto the balcony. The location is very convenient: less than 10-minute walk to Waikiki beach, shops, and restaurants. My family and I took walks in the neighbourhood almost every day during our stay and had fun time visiting International Market Place and Royal Hawaiian Center. Parking is free and was easy to find a parking space. The laundry room is only 10 steps away from the condo. Can pay by credit card through an app or coins (quarter). Although there was a misunderstanding on check in process, the issue was quickly resolved after I filled out a check-in form at the security desk on the ground level. Chris and Sara were responsive and helpful to my inquiries. Highly recommended to anyone who is considering to vacation in Waikiki.

Pure relaxation

My daughter and I spent New Years week at this rental. It was perfect for us. We arrived a bit early and the room was still being cleaned. We decided to drop our bags at the front desk and get some supplies. Because you are not a hotel guest…they charge 5 a bag to do this. Chris and Sara authorized an early check in as soon as the room was ready which was great.The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and glasses and everything we needed really. Some basic food items had been left behind from various renters…some of these came in handy. The beds were comfy. There are lots of extra pillows and blankets. We did not use the pull out in the living room. Everything worked well in the bathroom…but we couldn’t locate an electrical outlet in there…which was a bit problematic. Adding a full length mirror to the unit would be a plus!The beach chairs and toys are well used. We donated a boogie board to the cause. It was super handy to have these available.The sliding glass door out to the patio is quite hard to move…but once out there…what a wonderful view!! We were able to watch the fireworks from the unit, which was great!The garbage area was right down the hall…as well as the coin laundry. This was very handy and easy.We used the pool a few times…it was quite busy and only gets the morning sun. It can get quite chilly once in the shade.Shops and restaurants were all in walking distance. Plenty of options for beach swimming.

Great Location and view

Thank you to Chris and Sara for sharing their gem with us. The location is perfect…we feel it’s on the best end of Waikīkī Beach. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but this suite has been reno’d and is lovely….we would not hesitate to stay here again. Chris and Sara were responsive to our queries and willing to help, when we needed it. We had access to the pool, which we didn’t use, and the weight room, which we used daily…it had everything we needed, for a small hotel gym. We loved our morning views from the lanai and the evening walks along the strip….lots to see! We had a car and loved that this spot included free parking, thank you! We left each day to explore the island, but this was a great home base. Mahola, The O’Sullivan Family. ,

Great location, great views, great condo

Just finished 3 weeks at Chris's condo. What a great spot - we stay at the Sunset or Banyan each year, and this time, it was at the Sunset. The condo was clean, functional and well equipped, and made our stay a breeze. There were 3 of us and the place worked quite well (even up to 4). The kitchen was fantastic - all you needed to cook - and the bedroom and bathrooms were as expected. The only slight negative is the sofa couch is not comfortable as a couch (didn't try it as a bed).Thanks Chris!

Great hosts, super easy communication. Great instructions left inside the apartment. Parking was super easy and such a bonus to have in Waikiki. The beds were quite soft, the views are stunning. Really comfortable apartment and the building overall was quiet, didn’t really hear any other guests while there. Great location

2 Wochen Diamand Head und Honolulu

Vom 28 Stock hat man eine grandiose Aussicht. Jeden Morgen hat uns Diamand Head und der Ocean beim Kaffeetrinken begrüßt. Das Appartament war sehr sauber,einchecken und parken war sehr einfach. Nur 5 min zum Strand, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Super Lage. Leider hat das Appartment einige Mängel. Die Schiebetür zum Balkon geht extrem schwer, 2 von 5 Lampen funktionieren nicht, genau so ein Teil der Kaffemaschine und der Reiskocher. Im Backofen fehlt ein Blech. Einige Pfannen und Töpfen sollte man erneuern. Die vorhandene Strandutensilien sind nicht zu gebrauchen. Ohne diese Mängel wäre dieses Appartament super und sein Geld wert. Herzlichen Dank an Chris,der sofort da war um die Dusche zu reparieren. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Amazing Views and a Comfortable Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this condominium. The unit is located on the 28th floor, offering stunning views of the ocean and Diamond Head, which were absolutely breathtaking. The room was very clean, and it was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and essentials like toilet paper, making our stay very comfortable. The only minor inconveniences were the absence of shampoo and body soap, and the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger. Despite these small issues, we would love to stay here again when we return to Waikiki.
