The pool and all associated amenities will be closed starting April 7, 2025, for an estimated duration of 10 to 14 months to accommodate the Recreation Deck renovation project.

This well-appointed 1 bedroom, 1 bath corner unit has a retractable window wall, bringing the outdoors in, enhancing living space and creating unobstructed views to the sparkling blue ocean and skies by day, and twinkling Honolulu skyline by night. Condo includes one king size bed and a sleeper sofa, with additional high quality air mattresses available.

This fully-equipped unit offers the comfort and convenience of a home away from home. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and housewares; a conveniently located laundry room steps from your front door; A/C unit in the living room; free Wi-Fi and parking.

Koko Resorts at The Waikiki Banyan
Most of our condos at Koko Resorts are located in the luxurious Waikiki Banyan, an ideal spot for any occasion in Hawai'i. Just a block from the famous Waikiki Beach, you can easily enjoy dipping your toes in the soothing ocean water, surfing, swimming, scuba diving, hula dancing, and exploring Hawaiian nightlife. The Waikiki Banyan is also close to top-notch dining options and shopping centers like the International Marketplace and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. For family fun, the Zoo and Aquarium are just around the corner, and public transportation is readily available for exploring Honolulu, conveniently located just outside the building.

The Waikiki Banyan features a beautifully furnished lobby with Hawaiian decor, soothing waterfall sounds, and a koi pond. Enjoy coffee and breakfast at The Banyan Breeze, a local coffee shop, and stock up on local treats at the lobby's Mini Mart. The recreation deck includes a full-length pool, hot tubs, saunas, a tennis court, barbecue grills, and a children's playground. Koko Resorts offers additional amenities such as free parking for one vehicle, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and fully equipped kitchens in each suite. The location and views were nice, and communication with the management team was generally responsive. However, the stay did not fully match what was advertised. The entire recreation deck including the pool, hot tub, playground, and sport courts was closed during our stay, even though these amenities were still shown in the listing photos. The unit itself was functional but showed signs of wear, including peeling paint in the bathtub, visible cracks in the walls, and we did encounter a roach during the stay. I understand insects can be common in Hawaii, but combined with the other issues it affected the overall experience. Overall, the stay was okay, but clearer listing accuracy and some maintenance updates would significantly improve the experience for future guests.

A very nice apartment. Just as pictured. The ocean view is truly amazing. I also liked the decor. Parking is included during our stay, so that is really nice. If the price is right, we would definitely consider staying here again. Things to be aware of - the laundry is not in the unit and shared with others on the floor. Only one washer and one dryer. The landry room is closed after 10pm and reopens at 8am. At the time, the cost of one wash is 4. Drying is another 4. I really wish there is a rack or hook in the bathroom so I can hang towels or clothes. Because there is none, you have to open the door and grab whatever cover-up. Privacy can be tricky to protect. The sofa bed is unlike anything I used before. Took me a while to figure out, by luck, how to set it up. Recommend the host to give the guests some basic instructions.

Waikiki vacation

The condo was lovely. Exactly as pictured. You have views of the water. We watched the fireworks for New Years right from the patio. The beds were comfortable. The only snag in our stay was the check in process. I never got the check in instructions, checked with the front desk and they said I had to contact the renter. I sent a message via the app and no one ever responded. I finally called and got it worked out, but it was a little frustrating. Other than that, our trip was lovely and we would rent the condo again.

Convenient And Beautiful View

Nice high floor so had amazing views and comfortable outdoor furniture. Every type of small appliance you could think of. Tub is very old but shower did fine. Absolutely NO dressers or even nightstands so plan to live out of your suitcase. Limited counter space. If you have kids that might be hard to do. Plenty of towels which was awesome!

Great Views but updates necessary

The views and location are phenomenal from the unit. You can walk anywhere in Waikiki area. Coffee shop on site was amazing. Building felt safe considering some of the undesirable activity that happens on the streets of Honolulu. At first glance condo seemed clean and well appointed. Check in was very smooth. Recreation deck was nice to use as well. Unfortunately, the unit didn’t seem to have been cleaned recently. We had to clean out tub ourselves upon arrival. The tub ended up having a leak into unit below us. We were given option to shower in locker room shower or move to new unit. We opted for new unit, but it didn’t have the same views. Also both units had furniture with staining on them. Hallways of the building need new carpet and baseboards. The property manager did attempt to makeup for the issues we had, but I recommend they get a professional cleaning service and new living room furniture. Otherwise I wouldn’t be comfortable staying again.
