"The property overall was very nice BUT our walk in bathroom shower was DIRTY has mold around the edges."

"Bad breakfast "

"At the time I stayed there the hot water was having problems"

"Would not recommend this location unless you are in a desperate need to stay somewhere. All the rooms that we were offered were completely disgusting there was black mold along the baseboards and carpet, dried substances like snot smeared on the walls the rooms were dusty, had weird smells, the fridge we had looked like it had mold or something gross inside of it like no one had ever cleaned it, the list goes on and on. The photos on this site does not compare at all to the actual facility and...

"This was an excellent place to stay. If you're coming to see the Ark Encounter, it's a really good home base between multiple activities and there is lots of shopping and many good restaurants nearby, as well. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, was clean, the breakfast was good with variety each day, and the staff checked in with me each day to see if we needed anything. We didn't use the pool but the fitness center was much used by the whole family. Oh and for anyone worried about the...

"Super."

"Love the nostalgia of the hotel. Great river view. The owner is very nice and helpful."

"Courteous staff, clean hotel, comfortable bed and pillows.. a very short but pleasant stay. Shuttle drivers were timely for pickup and drop-off. Would definitely stay here again since it is also very close to the airport."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The balcony room we originally booked had been overbooked so we were upgraded to a king suite which was very nice."

"Staff were extremely helpful and great assortment at breakfast."

"Fixtures in the room were a little dated but clean and everything worked perfectly. Staff was great. Facilities were nice. Breakfast was good with waffles & fresh fruit. Biscuits and gravy. Great value to get a king bed jacuzzi room at this price point. Very nice, partner loved. Will stay again."

"Worn down hotel and slightly dirty. Staff was friendly. Proximity to the airport the only advantage "

"I am so disappointed with this experience. We stayed at a Country Inns and Suites property in Grand Rapids and it was great. Property was well maintained, amenities were great and the staff were top notch. I assumed all properties were similar. Boy was I wrong. This property was not what I expected. It it always simply a place to rest for the night, but not a place to enjoy. The tub didn’t look clean so we didn’t take baths. Just washed up real good and kept it moving. The breakfast was sub-par...

"Warm breakfast with greens and some vegetarian dishes. Well functioning kitchen in the room with big refrigerator and freezer. "
