"Just a little warning to other guests and those considering booking here! Saturday was terrible, 20 children with parents invaded the pool. It was a children's birthday party all day with shouting and screaming. All the sunbeds were taken and there was no room for the hotel guests. Poor service from the managers, no help to get so we had to leave the area. "This is an older hotel, with Akzo large suites Werth balconies / or Sea views. Just a short drive from beaches and popular Ballito activities. The staff were welcoming and very friendly, while ensuring all my requests were taken care of . The indian cuisine served at the "Dine inn" restaurant is authentic and very delicious! Expect issues With water & electricity- these are issues common for the area and not caused by the hotel or the staff. "

There is no sea view There was no batteries in the remote for the aircon . Very bellow standard finishing touches ,cutlery was not clean . "After a 6 hour journey we arrived at the Capital Zimbali but main reception staff denied knowing about the apartment. We discovered the apartment is let by a private host and the hotel are fully aware of this. The reception could not have been any more unhelpful. A security guard kindly escorted us to the Welcome Centre, where a gentleman telephoned the main hotel and patiently explained that we were trying to book into the suite. We had to wait 2 hours to gain entry to Zimbali due to the entry code that was not sent to us. We coukd not make use of Zimbali amneties, or order room service. "Just a little warning to other guests and those considering booking here! Saturday was terrible, 20 children with parents invaded the pool. It was a children's birthday party all day with shouting and screaming. All the sunbeds were taken and there was no room for the hotel guests. Poor service from the managers, no help to get so we had to leave the area. The reception should have warned us so we could plan our day differently and they should have maybe reserved some sunbeds for the guests. No compensation, no offer of possible transport to the beach. When we left the hotel, we asked for an extra 1 hour late check-out, we couldn't do that despite the hotel being empty. We have been here 4 times before and this is probably the last time."
