Location-wise, although in an area under development, its really handy for the Hoe, Harbour & city centre.

"Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be. "

Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean.

Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.

"A lovely hotel right in the heart of town. Spotlessly clean and well equipped rooms but one issue for me was that the air conditioning units seem to be centrally limited to 22 degrees. This is far too warm imo and while it may not bother others would stop me booking again, at least during the summer. Food in the bistro also very good and pool area great also."

"First time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. "

When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout."
