We stayed with our two kids and felt right at home. The location is awesome too—really close to the Paihia beach market, which was super convenient. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to stay in Haruru!"

"Perfect property for a large family birthday celebration, this is a very well set up home and has the most beautiful views out to the harbour and sand dunes , the weather was perfect and the deck was well used over the entire stay!We had a lovely weekend away together and highly recommend this property for the home and the location. "Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Location was ideal for us and we could not fault it. Beds were comfy and so were the couches. Next time i will remember to take a bluetooth speaker but otherwise the lack of tv was a bonus. Went to the opononi hotel to watch the league and take the kids out for dinner. Locals are really friendly.As for the driveway, i left that for hubby to navigate. Didn't look as bad as i had envisioned but i probably would park down the bottom if I was on my own. Overall loved...

"We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage"
