"We loved this Hotel! By far the best accommodations we had on our trip to Japan, and for that matter, most of our trips abroad! The room was great, especially the indoor/outdoor soaking tub. The specialized dinner and breakfast were great, a fantastic true Japanese dining experience. We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and before our room was ready. We had heard that Hakone was known for Soba and inquired about a restaurant recommendation. Our host smiled and in broken english said...

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is super nice, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect and made it easy to get around. We’d definitely stay here again"

Meget familievenligt. Meget sødt personale. "

"This spot was quite far from the station. There was nothing around the hotel in this area. The view from the Room (waterfall and mountain) was gorgeous. Staff were very helpful and kind to us for late dinner and shuttle bus requests. Only disappointment was the public onsen bath. I didn't smell any mineral water in the bath. Hakone is famous for onsen but I was disappointed."

"The house was difficult to find and, as mentioned, had a steep hill to walk down. When we entered, it smelled strongly of gas as there were 3 gasoline jars directly inside the door. The smell gave all four of us a headache. Also, it was VERY cold, due to missing windows. The heaters were set at max and we were still very cold. Lastly, the floors are not stable. In the dining room, it felt like we were walking on cardboard, as the floor flexed and moved when we walked. "

"Nice secluded location just a short walk from the busstop. Onsen was very good and so was the ryokan. Would come back!"

"My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook simple meals and the view of the lake was great. It was super foggy and windy the first night but luckily it cleared up so we could enjoy it. Our only complaint were the beds being as hard as the floor but thankfully there were futon pads available so we put those on the beds and slept fine. The hot tub also worked great and was very relaxing. Also the parking is a little tight to get into. We had a very...

"We loved our stay! The room was quiet and comfortable. We loved the public baths and breakfast (we didn't have dinner with our room). The staff was very welcoming. There's also a shuttle from the hotel down to the bus stop in Motohakone or it's an easy 15 min walk. "

"Very nice property. The home is very clean and rather spacious. Very close to nearby public transport which makes it very easy to get around. Location is rather walkable as well to other restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyable more immersive experience to the neighborhood. There's a great little coffee house literally seconds away. Lovely amenities in the home. Personally loved the shower and large bathtub. The beds were good, but were very loud and creeky even with subtle movements. Since there...

"Great staff, nice view, clean room and nice onsen"
