"We had a lovely time! Close to the parks, and a great view of the river."

"Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. "

"Needed a quiet place to stay in Princeton WV while working a job there for a couple weeks. This place was an absolute gem! Nice and cozy remodeled cabin in the woods. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the find. Would love to stay there again if the time and place called for it. "

"Extended family of 13 stayed for over Labor Day weekend and we had a wonderful time. The views are STUNNING and with two levels of wrap around porches you almost feel as though you’re in a treehouse Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and one lovely rainbow, wildlife sightings daily, and total peace and serenity. Comfy beds, plenty of seating for large groups. We spent most of our time in the cabin together, but Pipestem State Park is just down the road and the cabin is only about 20 minutes to...

"Loved our stay! The house is roomy, very clean, and even though it is in the middle of a small town, it feels very private. We loved hanging out on the back porch. Peggy adds a lot of little touches around the house to make you feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!Hot tip: visit Tamarack Marketplace for a wonderful selection of handmade West Virginia items. "

"This place was incredible, absolutely beautiful house in an even better setting. The location was perfect for us. House was super clean and comfortable. Awesome communication with the owners. The only downside was not having more time to spend here. I highly recommend this property. "

"Everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Remarkably clean! The title is serious…it is on a hilltop. If anyone in the group has mobility issues, it may be a bit of a challenge."

"Wonderful home with lots of clean, comfortable indoor spaces and great side deck for relaxing and cooking/eating. We came as a family for golf at Pipestem and it couldn’t have been more convenient. We will be back!"

"The house has been beautifully renovated. It was spacious enough for our large family. The game room was a hit with our kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is close to New River Gorge National Park. The town of Thurmans is nearby along with Concho overlook, Dunlop Falls and Finn’s Falls. The host is quick to respond. We definitely recommend staying here. "
