"The location did not disappoint. On a beautiful lake. Very quiet. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the dock with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Our group was compromised of 10 adults and one 6 yr old. My niece was thrilled with the bunk beds. In the same room with the bunk beds are some books for reading and a reading nook. She absolutely loved the nook. The sunroom is absolutely beautiful. Tastefully decorated. And the view from the sunroom is stunning. I did reach out to the host...

"This is such a great home! Before arriving, we received a list of local businesses to try such as restaurants, bars, shops, etc. which was so helpful. Upon arriving, we were instantly pleased with the home. It is decorated beautifully, is very clean, and it provided everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. The neighborhood feels safe and is extremely close to Duke University (which was the reason for our visit). The host was responsive and super friendly. Check in and check...

"The hosts were amazing. Jamie responded to every one of my crazy long texts and all my questions. We met Joe and he was also very nice. We had a visit at UNC Nerology and it was within about 10 minutes. She accommodated all our requests. The cottage was adorable, clean, and comfortable. Nice area. Very quiet. Grandma’s Cottage will be the only place we will stay for future appointments. "
