"Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable and unique. It was very quiet and relaxing stay. Over all a very beautiful place to stay, we would highly recommend. Wasn't a problem for us but it might be for some. Room doors are old European style doors and do not seal very good. Large opening around the bottoms, which could let in small critters. The doors let out a lot of AC in summer and I would imagine heat during the winter. "

"Rose Hill Retreat is an absolutely beautiful location with great staff and lovely rooms. We stayed in the Sunrise room in the main building which has its own separate sun room with day bed and balcony. The view is stunning and sitting on the balcony drinking local wine and enjoying a charcuterie board and watching the sun set was amazing. "From the first time we stepped into this property we were in awe. This property is located conveniently just blocks from Main Street. It is a cozy but spacious home offering plenty of room for everyone but also having a personal feel. We slept 8 in this home with room for more. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. "This is a very unique B&B. I loved the grounds. It was very peaceful and staff was very helpful and down to earth. They have lots of farm animals which I thought was a neat touch to see them. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the Texas Oil Boom Room which was nice, had its on bathroom, and bed was super comfortable. "
