Four-poster bed - king size -, mosquito net, air conditioning (main house), fan, and blackout curtains ensure a restful sleep. Comfortable living is supported by fully equipped kitchens, and upon request, we can also do shopping for you for a small fee. Each bedroom and the living room on the ground floor has its own balcony/terrace with chairs and a table. Here you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset (partly with sea view).
Although there is no swimming pool, just across the street, a short stop at the Sambo Market kiosk, then turn left, and in about 100 meters you are at the sea. There, at the left end of the bay (approx. 100 meters), swimming is usually safe with little current.
The beach here is particularly quiet, with the main beach a 30-minute walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride away. Bus stop is practically right at the door and Kumarakanda train station is about 400 meters away (train to Galle and Colombo).
You can rent either the entire house or each floor separately as an individual apartment.
Ground floor: 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living and dining room, as well as direct access to the garden; bedroom with king-size bed, mosquito net, air conditioning, fan, blackout curtains, wardrobe, and access to its own balcony; living and dining room (ceiling fan) with access to the front terrace; kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, and kitchen utensils, rice cooker and hand blender available upon request; bathroom with WC and walk-in shower; terrace/balcony with table and chairs at the front and back.
1st floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen (oven), balconies with garden view; each bedroom each with a king-size bed, mosquito net, air conditioning, fan, blackout curtains, wardrobe, and access to the bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower as well as a private balcony; kitchen with oven, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, and kitchen utensils, rice cooker and hand blender available on request; balconies with table and chairs at the front and back.
2nd floor: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, balcony with sunrise view, and large terrace with sunset view and sea view. Bedroom with king-size bed, mosquito net, air conditioning, fan, blackout curtains, wardrobe, and access to the bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower as well as balcony; kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, and kitchen utensils, rice cooker and hand blender available on request, dining table, and access to the large terrace with table and chairs.

Note:
You will receive the keys at the Sambo kiosk opposite.
The house is located on the main waterfront road; despite being in a 'backyard location' (front building with driver’s room and (planned) laundry facilities), it is somewhat audible. However, at night there is almost no traffic (detour for buses and trucks), and from the back side you can occasionally hear the train.
