"We enjoyed our stay at The Crossing. The breakfast was very good. The one thing I was surprised about was that our breakfast was not included with our room fee. We stayed at so many different places that I guess I just didn't check to see. But, we were a bit taken aback when after eating breakfast we were asked to settle the bill for it."

Det kunne have været stort og flot, men der var intet liv i lobbyen med så meget plads og mange flotte stole. "We only had an overnight stay, but this was long enough to enjoy our accommodation. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "We loved the apartment at Sweeney Two - it has a real WOW factor with its industrial style, which was unexpected in the middle of Aviemore! It had everything we needed and the garden area is a real bonus.
It’s in a great location for exploring the Cairngorm area, we went to the mountain resort to do the tubing slides and funicular and then on to the reindeer walk, all of which we can recommend. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from

"It is difficult to evaluate the Macdonald Morlich Hotel, as the hotel was closed. I booked my stay only a few days before arrival, and there was no mention of this closure which was very annoying. Instead a room was provided in one of the other Macdonald hotels nearby. This is the place I have evaluated."

"Hotellet er slidt helt ned. Gulvtæpper der er meget beskidte. Løst tapet både i fællesområder og på værelset. Specielt på værelset er tæppet så slidt at man ikke har lyst til at gå barfodet. Der manglede lampeskærme. På værelset var der spildt en stor rødvinsplet på væggen og bordet, og selv om vi gjorde opmærksom på dette lige efter check in blev det ikke rengjort i løbet af de 3 dages ophold.

The floors were a bit old and quite noisy which is charming but not so much when the guests in upstairs room dance and jump after a night out long after our bedtime 😬
