"Everything was as we hoped, and even a little better. We requested a room with a great view, and they gave us a room on the top floor without any questions. Had a great view over the mountains and when we had questions we asked the front staff in english, and they were happy to help. 10/10 hope we get the chance to visit the hotel again some time. The Onsen and the location of the hotel is also 10/10."

"Nicely located both near the station and a short 10 minute walk from old town Takayama. The best beds we slept in on our 7 hotel trip. "

"This hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms are spotless and very large by Japanese standards, the beds are great and we had our own kitchenette and washing machine / dryer. It is located right next to the train station and bus terminal but we weren’t bothered by noise at all. The staff is very kind and went out of their way to help us. Only downside is that it is a ten minute walk from the old city center. "

"I could not fault anything about this beautiful hotel. Modern, clean, lots of amenities available, no laundry but a coin laundry nearby. Staff efficient and friendly. Restaurant has amazing food and service both for breakfast and dinner. Ambience of the bar and sitting area is cozy and inviting."
