"This hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms are spotless and very large by Japanese standards, the beds are great and we had our own kitchenette and washing machine / dryer. It is located right next to the train station and bus terminal but we weren’t bothered by noise at all. The staff is very kind and went out of their way to help us. Only downside is that it is a ten minute walk from the old city center. "

"Lovely boutique hôtel. Confortable beds, nice sitting area and beautiful big wooden bathtub. Well situated to wander around the city. Nice café downstairs. Amazing service, room was ready before so we could access earlier. We had the luggage sent by Yamoto, and it was already in the room."

"The location is a bit on the outskirts, but everything else about this place was simply perfect. The room was spacious with a beautiful view, and the highlight was definitely the outdoor onsen. Soaking in the hot spring while overlooking a picturesque village that felt like the Swiss countryside was truly a dream. I enjoyed the onsen both in the evening and in the morning, and still wished I had more time there. It was absolutely wonderful, and I would love to visit again."

Nice size room, only downside is the door to the actual room must be very thin as we could hear EVERYTHING out in the hallway.
Front desk were kind to lend us umbrellas.

Stedet ligger dejligt og kan kun anbefales hvis man vil prøve et traditionelt, men moderne ryokan. "

"Amazing location and building. Welcoming staff who always greeted with a smile and warm approach. Good English and just all around an amazing stay and experience. Great outdoor Onsen for use in the evening and the lounge having drinks available to grab regularly. Could not fault them and cannot recommend the Ryokan highly enough."
