LAKE VIEWS & MOUNTAIN CHARM! This inviting 3BR/2.5BA getaway is perfectly situated near the main waters of Lake Chatuge, offering beautiful year-round lake scenery. Relax on two expansive decks with plenty of outdoor seating, enjoy easy access to boating and fishing, or explore nearby hiking trails, golf courses, and downtown Hiawassee. After a day of adventure, unwind with breathtaking sunset views and the peaceful atmosphere of North Georgia lake living.

Spend a day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental, or launch your own at a nearby public access point. Local rental options include Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, and Boundary Waters, with choices ranging from boats and jet skis to stand-up paddleboards and kayaks.

Take in sweeping lake and mountain views at Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, a 20-minute drive, or visit Brasstown Bald, Georgia’s highest point, about 35 minutes away. Enjoy the scenery at Shooting Creek Overlook, or explore Appalachian Trail trailheads less than 10 miles from the home.

Discover the Nantahala National Forest at Jackrabbit Mountain, less than five minutes from the property, with trails for mountain biking and dog-friendly hiking. Visit Chatuge Dam or enjoy the parks and beaches in Towns County, Georgia, and Clay County, North Carolina. Fires Creek Recreation Area, a 25-minute drive, is a local favorite for scenic hikes, swimming, and trout fishing.

Across the Georgia border, hike High Shoals Falls Trail, about 30 minutes away, or head to Alpine Helen, approximately a 45-minute drive, for Bavarian charm, tubing, and zip lining.

After a day of adventure, explore the restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee. Local wineries offer tastings and live music events. The Welcome Book in the house includes recommendations for dining, shopping, hiking trails, waterfalls, and other area activities.

The road going into the Neighborhood is a flat one lane road with pull offs.
There is space for 2 cars directly in front of the house. Just past the house there is a vacant lot where a few more cars or a boat trailer can park.

Please do not use the stairs to the right of the home, that is the neighbors access to the lake.

This spacious 2200sq ft. home boasts cathedral ceilings in the living room with floor to ceiling windows so you can take in that mountain and lake view! The living area has a wood burning fireplace that makes for a cozy setting in the winter months. The kitchen has all you need and then some for that chef in the family. Have your meals at the dining table that seats 8 or take your meals out on the expansive deck. Enjoy your favorite book in the private book nook/office. Master bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk -in shower.
Downstairs has another living area with big screen tv and mini fridge. 2nd bedroom is a queen room, the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds., these rooms share a jack-and-jill bathroom with tub/shower combo.
There's also a twin sofa bed and a rollaway cot downstairs.
Enjoy one of the 2 decks, the bottom level deck is complete with an outdoor shower. and a bed swing.

Feel free to enjoy the dock. The owners' boat may be docked at the dock during your stay. It is not part of the rental and is not available for guest use.
If you bring or rent a boat, you're welcome to use the dock. Please be mindful of the water depth when docking, as it can vary depending on lake conditions.
