Welcome to Chimney View Chalet, a peaceful mountain retreat in Hendersonville, NC. This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home features an open layout, full kitchen, private hot tub, and fire pit. Pet-friendly with parking for 6, it's ideal for families, friends, or a mom’s getaway. No indoor smoking, but perfect for peaceful, nature-filled stays. Just a short drive to downtown, hiking trails, and wineries—your ideal base for mountain memories.

Pets are welcome with $100 fee per pet. 2 pet maximum

The space
If you are looking for a mountaintop, peaceful, quiet location…with all of the amenities of a luxury cabin, you have found it with this mountaintop chalet and incredible view!

If you don’t mind driving up a gravel, mountain road, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with your choice of this beautifully positioned destination! Please note: most all types of cars can make it up this road, there are a few built up speed bumps, therefore low profile vehicles may not be the best to take up this road.

There’s parking for at least 10 cars with an additional parking area over by the workshop building.

A few steps lead up to a large wide open covered deck that offers a handcrafted table for your friends and family to gather around. A grill for outdoor cooking and a large hot tub offers plenty of outdoor entertainment. You want to be able to enjoy this view!

Indoors, you’ll find a large open floor plan with plenty of creatively created areas for seating and entertaining. A fully stocked kitchen has a full size washer and dryer.

With bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, this floor plan offers enough sleeping for 10, which includes a pull out sofa in the nook upstairs.

The fireplace is nice to look at, however, for safety reasons, it’s good to know we do not allow guests to burn fires in it. However, there is an awesome outdoor fire pit ( behind the cabin ) to gather around and you are welcome to use. * we do not provide wood but you are welcome to use any downed wood in the surrounding area.

This is a hidden retreat that offers the peace and sanctuary you are looking for. The only people driving up this road are ones who live here and there are not many.

You are less than 7 miles to Chimney Rock state park and less than 10 miles to Lake Lure. Head the other direction and you are only 20 miles from Asheville. It’s the perfect location for a true mountain getaway that is close to all popular tourist locations!

Other things to note
We do have bears that come through the property. Please do not leave trash or food outside. Do not leave food in your car.

Other wild animals are around, please watch over your dogs and keep them close. Coyote and bobcat are also a part of the wildlife here.

We just like for you to be aware of your surroundings at all times.

We do allow pets, there is a $100 fee per dog
