"We made it a girls weekend. We had 3 adults stay, but 4 to 5 could stay comfortably. We liked the history behind it and are into a little ghostly possible haunting adventure. The back deck was our favorite hangout. Its centrally located between St. Gen and Festus. Its a beautiful rurral area, but you aren't more thab 30 minutes from restaurants, etc. The owner was very nice and quick to respond and even left us snacks and homemade wine. We enjoyed the riesling!"

"We were in town for a wedding. The location was right next to the venue and the church. The place was very clean and had lots of amenities. The bedroom and living room were both very large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but it has a washer and dryer which for long-term stays would have been worth it. Check in was super easy and communicating with the owner was spot on. "What a perfect location in De Soto. We came for a family gathering for the solar eclipse. We absolutely loved the house and all of its amenities. Felt like we were home away from home.
