"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. He also guided us to safely swim at the waterfall behind the hotel. And to top it all off, he arranged a candlelight dinner by the river! Five...

"Amazing place in old colonial villa. Big clean cottages, beautiful setting in garden with spices, herbs and fruits. The young energetic manager were kind to take us on a two hour walk among farms og rice paddys, tasting spices and seeing kingfisher birds, turtles and lizards. "e to a misunderstanding with the driver, we arrived slightly irritated and tired after a very long drive on small dumpy roads. It only took 10 min and a warm welcome from the staff at The Governor’s Mansion to shake that feeling off. We had a lovely stay of 2 nights in February 2016.
