"Vi havde en enkelt overnatning på dette super dejlige og nyrenoverede hotel. Med de lyse aftner passer dette tidsrum fint til at se hele øen, som både har en voldsom historie og en smuk natur. Hotellet er familiedrevet, og de var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Vi fik råd og vejledning om det nye museum og udsigtspunkter, hvor det var godt at se søpapegøjer - puffins.

"This is a lovely guesthouse about 10 minutes off of the main road. This meant it was a quiet location, which was actually surrounded by farms and farm animals. It was a beautiful location! We had a small room with a private bath, but there was a shared bath across the hall that was clearly marked that it was only for two rooms to use. We spent some time in the evening chatting with other guests which was fun. We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked like a nice spread and the breakfast...

"This small Inn was located in a lovely setting with a great view of the Westman Islands. The staff were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - especially the mussels and the bread! The spa with hot tub and sauna were terrific. A great experience for the equestrians with trail rides available! Staff and breakfast were great too. We did a one hour horse riding tour on the morning we check out which was delightful - would highly recommend it! Daria was our guide and she was great! "

The best thing was my husband is gluten free and one night we arrived back around 6:30pm and didn’t want to go out to eat. But breakfast is basic, with below average service.
We stayed in the apartments and they were spacious and comfortable. Only addition would be a freezer section in the fridge as we had to ask for ice - but the staff were always on hand to give us ice.
Overall an excellent location with dining if you like to get back ‘home’ to eat and have a drink.
If you like horses, then it was lovely to watch...
