"Allenberry brought the cozy, local, family style living to this resort. We enjoyed everything, esp. the fly fishing. What a find. Activities are in abundance and sometimes unique, like the Playhouse. We missed the spa but liked the sauna, hot tub, pickleball, fire pits, dining, and more. This was a fishing weekend, but next time, we will be sure to watch the availablity of special activities and plan our trip accordingly. Very relaxing spot with easy to talk to staff. We loved it. "
"I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel very convenient in the heart of Carlisle. The room was huge and had a full size refridgerator, a microwawe and a coffee machine. There was a separate sitting group in the room and the bathroom was spacious too. All clean - quiet at night.
American breakfast is not my favorite in general, but I suppose it was pretty good compared to similar hotels. Anyone could find something to eat and drink and the quality of food was good.

However, the pool was full of unsupervised children who were loud and playing ball, and there were also unsupervised kids in the gym, using the equipment to play on. But no cleaning of rooms. Asked 2 times for coffee, towels and water. It came 9.30 pm - but only to one of our rooms.
Excuse for no cleaning was that the hotel was full - they were busy. We got a discount though.
Also water dispenser and ice machine did not work at the 2 floors we were at, also not at the gym.
