The Space:
Graystone Getaway is your perfect mountain retreat in the heart of West Virginia. Tucked away in the Woods Resort, this charming 2 bedroom cabin offers a peaceful escape from the everyday, blending rustic elegance with modern comfort. From the airy loft, cozy fireplace and stylish interior, to the breathtaking mountain views and numerous resort amenities, every detail is designed to help you reconnect — with nature, with loved ones, and with yourself. Whether you’re seeking adventure in the great outdoors or simply looking to relax in a tranquil setting, this cabin provides the ideal setting for your next getaway.

Hot Tub Experience
While our hot tub may look a little different from the standard spa, it offers a unique and versatile way to unwind and recharge during your stay. Through May 18th, we’re operating it as a traditional hot tub with electric heat—perfect for soaking sore muscles after a hike or simply relaxing under the stars.

Starting late May, we’re excited to offer more ways to enjoy it! Depending on your mood and the weather, use it as:
– A cool-down pool at outdoor temperature
– A refreshing cold plunge (just add ice!)
– A classic hot tub soak with the flip of a switch

We’re committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and stress-free experience. During check-in, feel free to ask which options are available for your stay—we’ll make sure you know exactly how to enjoy it to the fullest.

Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

1. The Woods Golf Course (distance from house - a short walk): Renowned for “fun and fair” golf, the 18-hole championship Mountain View course is perfect for low handicappers and the Stony Lick mid-length course for the rest of us!

2. The Old Roman Bathhouse (distance from house - 15 minutes): Home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times, the park’s Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.

3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 35 minutes): Offers hiking, fishing, and golfing, with beautiful views and various trails.

4. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 25 minutes): Known for its natural mineral springs and spa services, it's a lovely spot for relaxation.
