Round Lake Cabin Retreat

  • Familieejet kabine i over 11 år. Vi begyndte for nylig at leje, da vi har 5 aktive børn, og det er blevet svært for os at tilbringe tid på vores hytte. Derfor har vi besluttet at leje vores hytte til andre familier med håb om, at de også kan nyde og skabe minder! Vi håber, at du passe på vores hytte, som om den er din egen!

    Ved ankomsten finder du, at vores hytte har lav højde til smuk rund sø til alle slags vandaktiviteter. Derudover tilbyder Hayward-området mange festivaler (Lumberjack Days) og konkurrencer (Birkie). Mange andre rekreative aktiviteter såsom golf og kasino ligger inden for 5 miles.

Location of the property is very good. Quiet bay on the west shore with afternoon sun behind the deck. Two restaurants and marina on the bay. Kitchen is well stocked and all appliances worked. Gently sloping back yard with relatively shallow water around the dock. Plenty of parking. Although only one ceiling fan in living room there are box fans in all bedrooms.

This cabin was a very nice place. We had 10 girls on our weekend getaway and we had a lot of fun.

Great weather. Layout of cabin was perfect for our group. Great time. Nice swimming area. Caught fish off the dock. Air conditioning would be nice but we totally had a great time.

Really nice lake front property

Nice cabin and a great location. Kids had a great time with the paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat. Cabin was nice but could use some tlc.

Sled Trip

Great location for snowmobile trip with ride out to trails. Plenty of room to relax after riding. Parking was a little tight but managed fine with removing trailers to turn around. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic. The house is beautiful and fully stocked. Property was clean, well maintained, so much for the kids to do in the house on the rainy day and outside on the other days. Everyone loved our family vacation!!

Beautiful Lakefront Property

My family and friends had a great time staying at this location. The property was very clean and had plenty of space for all 10 of us. Great location by the trails. Beautiful Lakefront Property. We will definitely look up this property again when we go back to Hayward, WI.

August at the Lake

This was our second time staying on Round Lake, first time at this VRBO, it did not disappoint! The lawn area leading down to the water was great, and our kids really enjoyed the paddle boat. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of cooking supplies. We will definitely look to stay here again!

This home was perfect for our family, the sand beach and the clear lake was more than one could dream of, it was so nice that even when the rain came we could not get the kids out of the water-talk about making memories-this was the place, Thank you !!

Yoga on Round Lake

Great space for guiding a yoga class on the main floor. Had a blanket of snow fall so we had a great time with our snowshoes and cross country skis. Prepared some delicious meals using the kitchen. My friends enjoyed the space.

Everything was great. It was a bit of a surprise that we could not use the AC when we arrived. Not sure if I missed it in the listing. But it was pretty warm at check in.

Great place for large group

Property accommodate our group of 11 good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates and utensils. No stairs to get to lake. Dock accommodated our 3 boats. Would stay here again

Fun time!

Great family time on a beautiful lake. Though there was no air conditioning there were lots of fans. Kids and adults loved the kayaks, paddle boards, etc. paddleboapadboardboard

The house was nice and the hosts were helpful. The couches were pretty beat up and duct taped in places. There were moldy utensils on the top rack of the dishwasher. We had to replace the coffee pot because the one provided didn’t work. Over all it was ok but I don’t know that I would go back.

Great stay and home

My family just spent a week at this wonderful home. It was just right for all of us and enough bedrooms for all adults to have their own rooms. We loved the outdoor carpet inside and the outdoor furniture because we didn't have to worry as much with kids running in and out. We had a great time with the outdoor equipment, boards, lily pads canoes. We couldn't get our grandkids out of the water! Great fire pit down by the water. It was so nice to be closer to Hayward for quick runs. The only thing and the only thing that would be a PLUS would be air conditioning. We did get by as nights cooled off very nice. Thanks for the wonderful time!

The cabin worked out well for our extended family with two small children - it was spacious, the dining room table has benches so can hold a big group, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. The location is great and the property manager was responsive when I sent questions after we'd arrived. A few things would have made our stay feel more comfortable. We were there in the winter and most of the beds had just a thin blanket, and it was chilly! There were no extra blankets, other than from the beds we weren't using, so consider bringing extra blankets. There also is no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the showers, and the toilet paper supply is minimal, so bring all of those supplies. As other reviewers have noted, two of the basement bedrooms have no windows and were a bit musty and limited in bedside tables and other things that would have made them feel more pleasant. Lastly, the kitchen has no basic cooking supplies (not even salt and pepper) so bring everything you need with you. Overall, it was a totally fine stay and we would stay there again, but it felt a bit sparse.

Amazing lake house on Round Lake

Was a great lakefront property. Surrounded by trees and while there are neighbors, we felt isolated on the lake. Round Lake is an amazing lake and the property fits in perfectly. So many water toys (2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards. The hit for our little ones was the big 'lily pad'. They spent hours playing in and around it. Our group rented a pontoon from the very near-by Round Lake Marina and a smaller fishing boat. Room for both on the dock and still had plenty of room for swimming on the beach and off the dock. 13 of us stayed and all had beds so the sleeping accommodations were great. If you're looking for a north woods vacation and need room for 13, I don't know how you could do any better.

Perfect for boating and atv trip

We stayed here because of our great lake access and the proximity to atv trails. The weather wasn't great, so didn't use the lake as much, but its a lovely spot. Big yard for games, fire pit, large deck to hang out on. Close to atv trails so we were able to leave right from the driveway. The garage was a bonus to be able to park side by sides in when weather got nasty. 12 of us fit comfortably in the house. Plenty of room for eating, cooking, lounging, and games. 2 refrigerators definitely came in handy. Basement bedrooms are very dark, no window light - whether you like that or not would be a personal preference. Beds are comfortable. Overall a great place to stay. Fit our needs. Communication with owner / property manager was great!

Fun water toys on clear lake

Our family of 16 stayed and had a great time. Sleeping arrangements were kind of snug for that many people but we made it work. I was concerned about the wicker furniture in the living room but they were actually kind of comfortable. Better than expected. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pans, etc, but bring spices, oil, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil. Our favorite part was the lake and all the water toys furnished by the owner! We all enjoyed the lily pad, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat. Water was clear and fishing off the dock was good for the kids. They recently got new outdoor chairs that were super comfy when sitting outside. It was nice having an open flat area down by the lake for lawn games or sitting by the campfire. When we needed a break from the lake, we had a pool tournament inside with the pool table. The owner and property manager were very responsive to our questions and the owner wanted to make sure we were having a good time. I would definitely recommend this place if you don’t need super fancy.

Sledder's haven!

Prime access to Round Lake/trail system for sleds. Room for parking of 3 trailers and trucks in the driveway and additional parking lot nearby for other rigs. Double check with managers that there is enough room in that lot given boats being stored there and other trailers there. House is very clean and comfortable. Note that one queen bed downstairs is a waterbed. Two lower-level bedrooms do not have exterior windows. Kitchen is phenomenal and well appointed. Everything works well and is nicely maintained. Garage for storing sled covers, oil during the day is really nice. We've stayed here twice now, and will be back again! We love the access to trails, the size of the property for our big group, and the big game-playing table in the dining space. If we had one thing to put on a wish list, it would be cozier seating in the living room and ottomans. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us! See you next year! Crash & Berne Crew
