Life Of Reilly

Welcome to the Life of Reilly! Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this professionally decorated, 3 bedroom/2 bath log home. Situated on Hayden Lake and complete with a private covered dock, guests can enjoy the use of kayaks, paddle boards and the canoe. The utterly relaxing 1000 sq. ft. screened in porch is everyone's favorite spot! Enjoy coffee in the morning on the comfy porch sofas while soaking up the view. The dining table on the screened in porch is perfect for leisurely meals and games.
Watch the fishermen float by and the variety of birds (blue heron, osprey, eagles, Canadian geese...) soaring overhead or diving to catch their next meal!
The game room is equipped with a pool table and a dart board for evenings of fun. There are plenty of board games, puzzles and DVD's along with a Smart TV to binge watch all your favorite shows.
The master bedroom (located in the daylight basement) has a queen sized bed with a beautiful master bath complete with a large, marble-tiled shower and floor. The main floor bedroom also has a queen sized bed with another full bath located right next to it. More marble-tiled floors and a large, extra-deep tub/ shower combo will make your shower or bubble-bath soak a delight! In-floor heat keeps your toes warm in the winter and A/C throughout will keep you cool in the summer. Upstairs, the loft bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed, making it perfect for the kids or another couple. The loft is stocked with toys, children's books and baby gear for those traveling with little ones. The family room downstairs has an additional twin bed making this home comfortable for sleeping 6 adults or 8 including kids.
The decorated dock has seating around a gas fire pit and there is an outdoor wood burning fire pit above perfect for making S'mores and watching the moon rise. There is a wood shed stocked full of firewood for guests to use.
The Sportsman Park boat launch is 5 minutes away and your own boat will be safe and sound parked at the cabin's covered dock. The Hayden Lake Marina delivers all types of boats if you want to rent one for the day...or all week!
Ready to get out? Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions such as Silverwood Theme Park, shopping and dining in beautiful and charming Hayden or Coeur d'Alene, ID or head into Spokane, Washington for the big city feel. Feel like hiking or biking? Rent a
bike or lace up your sneakers and check out the famed Hiawatha Trail, Centennial Trail, Tubbs Hill or the trail right around the corner at English Point! Avondale Golf Course is just a few minutes away and The Porch Restaurant across from the course is a local favorite. With such a variety of activities, everyone is sure to find just the right fit!
***During winter months, although the road is kept cleared, a winter-friendly vehicle is a must. (good tires, 4 wheel/ all wheel drive)
***Note: If you are bringing your boat it is recommended that you launch it first at the Sportsman Park Boat Launch. The road to the cabin is a narrow gravel road and the circular driveway is steep.

Great stay!

We had so much fun and relaxation at this beautiful lake property. Amenities and location were amazing. The only reason we did not give a full 5 star rating is that some of the lightbulbs in the main room were out, some cobwebs throughout the home, and a faulty handle on the main floor toilet. The screen doors do not lock on the wrap around porch, but not sure if that was meant to be that way. Other than those small things, we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful

This Hayden Lake home is located in a beautiful, serene setting. The house is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings, lovely decor, impeccable cleanliness and every amenity valued guests appreciate — like quality towels and bedding, a well-stocked kitchen and firewood ready for cozy fireplace fires in the mornings and evenings. Our family felt at home the instant we entered this elegant, rustic and cozy lake home. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay and appreciated the kind and quick responses to all our information requests from our gracious hosts Colleen and Jon.

Looking to Move To Hayden

Loved the view and the screened in porch. Owners seem to appreciate their guests rather than leaving a list of things not to do as many owners do. We love Hayden Lake and Northern Idaho.

We had a quick 2 night stay here while in the area to visit Silverwood with our 3 teens. They almost didn't want to leave the house to visit the amusement park. Awesome Week at the Lake

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 toddlers) just returned from a 9 night stay at Life of Riley and completely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well stocked with just about anything you could ever need to relax and unwind. We used the private covered dock every day to swim, kayak, and paddle board. Our granddaughters loved the water and it was a short walk down the stairs each day to get there. Lots of time spent around the fire pit unplugged and talking about everything and anything. Nightly board games (provided) were super fun. Family dinners on the porch.....the porch was our very favorite thing. We would love to return.

Relaxation by the Lake

This house is well appointed and the hosts communicative, thoughtful and gracious. Everything needed to enjoy the lake including towels, canoe, paddle boards, kayaks, and fishing rods (among others) is provided. The house and kitchen are similarly well equipped, and everything works. There are many places to hang out inside and out, all of them comfortable and attractive. There are many options for nearby (short drive) groceries. The house and setting will help you relax, even if you may not be initially disposed to do so. Hosts are very attentive and conscientious. Quick poll confirmed each of our party of five would happily stay there again.

Wonderful Lake House

This is an amazing property, we enjoyed our stay. The house is everything you could want and the screened deck is fantastic. We loved being able to have our boat at the dock. Check in and communication were great!

This property was absolutely amazing. Pictures don't even fully capture it's beauty. There were also so many fun items such as games, fishing poles, kayaks, darts, cards, puzzles. Anything and everything. One of my favorite VRBO properties I've ever stayed at.

The best part of this cozy cabin is the view. The outdoor screened in porch is fabulous. We spent all our time on the porch. There were a few details with appliances-slow leak in the fridge and a problem with the washer/dryer but the owner is super responsive. Loved our time there.

Beautiful Property Inside and Out

We loved relaxing here on my wedding weekend. It was so beautiful with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was comfortable and well stocked for 5 of us to cook and hang out. I loved all their little touches, like s’mores and branded mugs. We are already talking about booking a return stay.

Wonderful Lake House!

This VRBO was even better than it looked in photos! Perfectly clean and Colleen was so responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the various amenities and especially the huge wraparound enclosed deck. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms had everything you could need. Furthermore the cabin is well stocked with games and water toys to enjoy on the lake! Definitely stay here, all you could want in a VRBO! Thanks Colleen for a fabulous experience on beautiful Hayden Lake!

Great location

The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood on Hayden Lake. Beautiful scenery, great fishing off the dock, the house is stocked with everything you need to create long lasting memories. I can't wait to book again.

Fantastic Cabin

Arriving to a very cold cabin coupled with electrical issues trying to heat the cabin was not what we had intended to start our trip. I feel the cabin doesn’t get much use in the winter time. It would be good to have heater already on the day before. But great communication with the host, a working fireplace, plenty of wood/kindling and amazing views made up for the bad beginning. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured on the website. I think this place would be a blast in the summertime. Such a beautiful property. Close to downtown CDA and lots of hiking trails. We will be back.

Family reunion at Life of Reilly

Our extended family had a blast while staying at the Life of Reilly cabin for a mini-reunion. Everything we needed for a fun ten-days on the lake was there for us. The whole experience was reminiscent of summer stays at a family cabin in Michigan; it was great to make new memories in Idaho! The kitchen was very well-equipped and we also got a lot use out of the on-site washer and dryer. The views from the screened porch were wonderful (we even saw a few eagles soaring over the lake!) and we had all of our family meals there. It was great to have a dock available to make our rented pontoon boat accessible throughout our stay. The kids (and adults!) were well-entertained with the available toys, floats, pool table, and family games. There was no cell service, but the Wi-Fi service allowed us to stay connected. Colleen was a great host; she was so quick to respond to any questions or requests and the cabin itself was extremely functional and comfortable. We hope to be back!

We have stayed here before and that is the reason for our return. This comfortable cabin is perfect for us adults and teenagers. A little piece of paradise!

We spent a week here with our children and grandchildren and everyone loved it! The house is both cozy and expansive. Everything is modern and the decor is perfect for a lake house. The owners have provided everything you could need and more. The views are beautiful and tranquil, but the jewel is the sun porch. I think we spent most of our time out there when we weren't out on the water. We drank our morning coffee, ate meals, played games, took naps and just enjoyed the sounds of the water lapping, the birds, the wind in the pines, the view - it was nirvana! Even our 8-yr-old grandson said he loved sitting out there listening to the water. The owners go above and beyond. Colleen communicated frequently, checking to make sure we had everything we needed and offering to help us in any way we might need. Even when I had an unexpected trip to the ER her concern was unbelievably genuine and kind. So, in short, we loved Life of Reilly and will definitely return! Thank you so much for providing the perfect vacation retreat!

Wonderful Cabin!

Our family had a lovely time staying and Samatha's cabin on Hayden Lake. The home is lovely and inviting. It was extremely warm during our stay so we couldn't take advantage of the porch and fire pit but it's absolutely beautiful overlooking the lake. As an added bonus the pier is great if you plan to bring a watercraft. There's plenty of toys, canoes, and floaties to keep you busy on the lake. If we travel again to Idaho, we'll stay here again.
