"Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever"

"Overall good, but below expectations on pickup service, we were told to pay for private boat, as we were not coming on exact time, even though we told we were coming from another Boena hotel. The only changed the price, when Boena Pacuare Lodge called tortuga lodge, then the price was different. Very bad service!!"

"Nice room, nice surroundings, nice staff, nice location"

"Casa Marbella was a wonderful place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Tortuguero village is not big, but Casa Marbella is placed central. The rooms are basic, but got everything you need. They provide coffee and tea before early morning tours. There’s a tour guide connect to Casa Marbella, Champer, that can take you on morning boat tour, day hike, night tour, volcano walk - all highly recommended. The breakfast was freshly prepared and the pancakes was very good and so was the fresh fruit! We...

"Great room for the price. Friendly staff. "

"Great host in Costa Rica!!"

"Very basic rooms and with only mosquito net and no glass on top windows so you are awoken very early by sounds from neighbours and staff as well as wildlife animals. Not very attentive staff, we struggled to find someone to help us with information several times. And food is okay but again very basic. The grounds (pool area, beach, bar etc.) are all very nice though. Be aware that to get to Tortuguero village you need to pay for taxi boats which can quickly add up if you want to go on tours,...

"I recommend that if you want to stay at Miss Marian‘s cabins, I would only stay for about a week. People that own it are very nice and they definitely want to help. So I do recommend it."
